I like the product’s simplicity and semi-sturdy laser housing. The expanders that go in the barrel however are very cheap plastic. Break one and you’re done bore sighting that caliber. 4 stars because none have yet broken.Update: used it on 4 rifles. Appears to work well with bores of 30cal +. Not so good for .22 and .17 cal — in fact way off.

Broke my first kit from them. Ordered a new one and the laser wasn't as strong. Contacted them and they sent a new one out that day. Replacement works great, just like the original one I had. Good product and a great seller.

This is an excellent tool...Accurate, simple to use, and has many different Bore sizes.Info:Hints on how to use the bore adapters...Once you have screwed the screw (with Adapter) onto the laser bore, stop screwing just before the head of the screw reaches the plastic center bore adapter winglets, stop. Don't screw the screw-head into the bore adapter.Insert the laser with the correct adapter attached (adapter that is snug) for the barrel. Stop inserting once it's all the way into the barrel, then turn the laser clockwise till the screw head expands the adapter wings...the laser will not turn anymore (do not over-turn, over-tighten).Once the laser is snug and won't turn anymore (without over-tightening). The laser is now correctly set.If you have trouble, contact the retailer or manufacturer. I don't recommend forcing anything.I'll do a video on how to set the laser.Again, this is an Awesome tool. If I had this when I was younger, wow! I would have saved a ton in ammo expenses...and time.

I had a couple of caliber-specific laser bore sight devices, but after using them some I noticed that the orientation of the laser cartridge in the chamber absolutely changed the location of the laser dot on the target. I made a mark on the cartidge and inserted the laser cartridge into the chamber and noted the position of the laser dot on target. I then rotated the laser cartridge 180 degrees and saw an 8-in shift at 25-yards. Thats what led me to seek out this tool. It has adapters for all calibers that expand via a central screw through the center of the adapter to the center of laser emitter. The screw can be further in our backed out to increase/decrease tension on the device inside the barrel. I made a mark at 25 yards indicating the laser dot, then rotated the device to 90, 180 and 220 degrees and noted almost no variation in the position of the dot. That's what I was looking for. I also like that this device has a larger battery vs tiny watch batteries, and that the emitter has an on/off button. Again, so much better than the caliber-specific chambered laser cartridges. The case is very well done also, and will keep all the adapters, emitter, batteries (2 ea), adapter screws, and screw driver in their respective places. This is a terrific value on a well thought out product. I highly recommend it for anyone needing to bore-sight optics!

Despite a review stating that this bore sight did not fit some .17HMR rifles, I purchased anyway. I can confirm that if you are buying this to bore sight a .17HMR, you will not be able to do so. Not only does the adapter not fit into the barrel, but the rear stem of the laser will not fit into the barrel either.I have a Ruger Precision rifle chambered in .17HMR, and as I stated the bore sight would not go into the barrel at all. It simply does not fit.Also, all of the adapters are unfinished. All of them have small bits of plastic left over from the molding process, it is like they molded them then simply decided NOT to remove any of the excess plastic from the molding process.I had to bore out the hole in the center of each adapter with a 3/32" drill bit. The screws would not go through the hole and attempts to thread the screw through the hole almost resulted in damage to the adapter.Purchased this because of the high reviews it got. While it works on my other rifles, I am not 100% satisfied with the quality or workmanship of the adapters.(Target Distance 50 yds-Rifles chambered in 308, 30-06, and 22LR)Besides the poor quality of the adapters, the laser is bright and can be seen even in bright sun light as long as the target is not in direct sunlight. In other words, if the sun is shining directly onto the face of the target, you will not see the laser.

This is an awesome way to zero your sights, even on bright daylight, you will be able to see the green laser beam. I had tested different calibers and in short and Long fire arms. Accuracy, easy to use, Good battery life, Durability, value for the money, And it works excellent, I will recommend.
