Great product, looks fantastic! Surely 'PU Leather' so it'll flake/peel ... eventually.
First I know some of you will want to know in what condition this cover is shipped. It is NOT shipped folded-all-up or tightly-shrink-wrapped … that would cause it to take-on creases/crimps. Rather it is shipped inside a large poly rectangular zip bag so that it is held in the general shape of an ellipse. I uploaded a picture of the packaging so you can see. Btw, in that picture, the 'Amazon smiley-arrow' in the center is pointing directly at the 6-o'clock position of the actual steering wheel cover. This elliptical form of packaging seems to have caused the three small/slight crimps I found on the BACK of the cover at the 3-o'clock, 6-o'clock & 9-o'clock positions. I've also uploaded a picture of the crimps so you can see those as well. Now this product is described as 'genuine leather.' A product can be legally sold/called such even if it is actually what is known as 'PU Leather' or 'Pleather.' To make PU Leather a very very thin sliver of low-quality, ugly, bottom-grain leather (that couldn't possibly be used for anything else) is coated with a ton of vinyl/PVC or synthetic rubber or something similar to make a material that looks very 'leather-like.' The only purpose of doing that, as opposed to just using pure vinyl/PVC or rubber, is so the item can be legally called 'genuine leather.' Eventually, with wear, the vinyl/PVC or rubber coating flakes/peels away from the bottom-grain leather. If the 'leather' fails on your original steering wheel, well that was probably some form of 'PU Leather' as well.At this price, this steering wheel cover has just got to be 'PU Leather.' But also, at this price and looking this good, if it even lasts just a year or two, I will not complain. In fact, my prior three steering wheel covers, all looking quite leather-like but not actually marketed as leather, only lasted about 2-3 years each before the flaking/chipping started. If you really wanted to avoid this type of failure, you could pay 60 smackers and buy that 'lace/stitch-it-on-yourself' type of steering wheel cover; at that price, the strip of material will most probably be higher-quality 'real leather.'(Just be sure you do not fall into the trap of buying an expensive 'genuine' 'PU Leather' couch for your living room … or you will soon be very sorry!)I bought the black-on-black. It is a MATTE black, not glossy black as it appears in the pictures. Like some other reviewers have said, it feels a bit awkward to be gripping it at 9-o'clock and 3-o'clock where the leather is raised and smooth and stitched. Because it is raised and stitched, it feels as though the rest of your hand is being raised a bit off the steering wheel, not in firm grip of it around the non-raised portion of the cover.I was actually looking for a more simple OEM/stock-looking cover filled with perforations to match the color and the perforated leather of the seats. Couldn't find one. The company I bought my three prior covers from had one, it was a perfect match … but it has gone out of business. Dash Designs (an Arizona company that makes high-quality custom-fit dashmats) also has one (called 'Sedona Grip') but it was back-ordered 60+ days out. So I took a pass on waiting … and bought this one instead. It isn't going to look entirely 'stock/OEM' … and there is that weird feel about gripping it … but it has a pretty understated look and so it will fit in with the look of the interior of my Lexus. If/when the material fails, then I will just go shopping again, I suppose.Installation: I let it soak in hot water for about 30 minutes to make it more malleable then dried it. Starting at the 12-o'clock position on the steering wheel, it took about 3 minutes of serious tugging and stretching to get the cover on all the way round the sides and down onto the 6-o'clock position. The three crimps disappeared. Conclusion: Better-than-average quality and appearance given the price. It's doubtful you'll be disappointed especially since, at this price, you are not seriously invested in it.

Most Excellent
Feels good on your hands while gripping the steering wheel. A little work putting it on, but worth the effort.

Fits well
My husband bought a “beater” car VW Jetta to drive back and forth to work to save on the cost of diesel for his pickup. The car is 23 years old and, other than a few cosmetic flaws, it’s in great condition. I got this steering wheel cover because, after 23 years, the steering wheel was dry rotting. It fits perfectly and looks very nice with a little red trim to match the color of the car. Not too thick so you can have a good grip.My only complaint and why 4 stars…the packaging. It was folded up and wrapped in shrink wrap. This caused creases which caused gaps once installed. The creases and gaps did eventually go away but I was worried they wouldn’t.

Good product and fits well
Nice product and fits well. Be careful if you have small hands. I would consider myself a med - large sized man. I'm ok with the additional girth added, however smaller handed individuals may not be.
