This book is a great introduction to learning the ethics and mechanism of love spells and recipes. It has a fun and playful energy to one’s imagination in expressing creativity in an individual’s personal craft (paganism or witchcraft if you prefer those terms). To the reviewer who who gave one star - she experimented but said none of spells worked. I’m not familiar with her background but I’m a firm believer that any spell book or made up spells by a 5 year old on the simplest level can work - only if the person can master the foundations of energy manipulation of their surroundings and elements. People need to realize the power isn’t in a book of spells or formulas. The power is always within us - we have forgotten how to harass it with proper tools. Or society did not teach us this inner power we hold. So I think or assume this reviewer didn’t hold much faith or belief or know how to use her energetic ability to attempt those spells in this book. This is just my observation. Magick is about being imaginative and using the child-like power and faith in ones abilities, to be expressive and creative with their unique craft.

Book has ridiculous requests such as obtaining “wolf teeth” or “kill a green frog”

Originally first bought the Modern Guide to Witchcraft book by Skye Alexander and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very easy to follow and read and packed with tons of information. I ended up buying all the books she and author partner wrote.And this book was just as great filled with tons of information/spells. Definitely recommend.

I love this author & all her books! This one had some great spells but some do entail a lot of specifics on timing & ingredients for the spells so its hard to just pick it up & find one that fits for any day of the week. Definitely have to plan the spell you are doing. Although she does mention how you can change up some of the parts of each spell in her other books if something doesnt resonate with you or add your own things to each spell!

Great little book of spells to help one in love. Nothing black or taking liberties, these spells don't interfere with another person's free will. Very positive and the author knows her stuff.

I dont plan on doing love spells but I like to have the knowledge on hand if for some reason it becomes a must. I am just loving the Modern Witchcraft series as a whole. Those that fall more Wiccan, she doesn't say to ignore free will and I don't feel any spell she included would break the Rede but it is of course up to each Wiccan to deice for themselves.

Love this book it has good basics and is simple to read and understand

Though the spells can be a little iffy, a little fluffy; they do provide a great base for spell modification. You can easily turn one of the more fluffy looking spells into a phenomenal success or prosperity spell. I don't work with love spells for obvious reasons, if you're a well versed with anyways, but they definitely are a great base to alter into something else.

Me gustan mucho los libros de esta autora, pero esperaba un poquito más de este título. Solo son hechizos que podría crear cualquier practicante regular de brujería, la verdad me hubiese encantado algo más de teoría. Aún así tiene ese encanto digno de todos sus títulos. Es recomendable.Lamentablemente el libro llegó en malas condiciones, raspado, maltratado y manchado, parece como si alguien ya lo hubiera usado. No estoy segura si voy a devolverlo porque este libro lo compré con la devolución de otro libro que también me llegó en malas condiciones, me siento un poco decepcionada. En fin, espero tener más suerte para la próxima.
