I work outside in a loud environment and always had to crank the volume to hear anything through the original earpiece. This fits snugly in the ear and seals out most of the exterior noise allowing me to pick a volume that isn't always full blast. Unfortunately my Voyager Edge headset got wet a few weeks ago and after it dried the sound is now muffled like it's all low end bass and no treble. It looks like Plantronics doesn't sell the Voyager Edge anymore so hopefully my next bluetooth headset uses these too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Well Fit ear upgrade definitely 👍 *by J***O on Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2022* After using this product I can say the fit for the large is well in my ear it takes a little getting used to in the ear canal and it has a really good seal it keeps out most sound depending on your earpiece and the quality of it and it's condition I think sound will vary cause I have 2 edges and both sound different but I but I am very happy with this product it keeps it in my ear without a your loop on and it does not move and/or fall out and I'm very busy at work. Over all a great upgrade and I feel worth the purchase! The only reason I gave it a 4 on sound quality is because it does fit so tight I almost pull it back a lil too let air in, now that may or may not be whatnlthers like but my preference. These are the best replacement tips, except for one flaw -- As others have noted, the tight fit makes the volume extremely loud, even at the lowest setting. I snipped off the edge around the top 3/4's of the part that goes into the ear canal. Now it's perfect. See the pics. Also see ClayC's review for a different modification to reduce the volume.
