Fits my Desktop+Phone use-case perfectly
There are two things that I didn't see mentioned in the product description that are good to know: -When powered on, it maintains an active Bluetooth connection, even when using 2.4 -Like a lot of Razer's revenge Bluetooth audio devices, this has a low-latency gaming mode. Discovered this in the user manual. I'll start off by saying that getting this device it's initial update was a huge hassle, but things have been smooth sailing since. Just try to follow the updater's directions as precisely as possible, it should work. The build quality is the weakest point as the exterior is primarily plastic. This is overshadowed by comfort, however, and the cushions feel soft and light. If you're looking for audio fidelity, I really hope you know you're in the wrong place. While I wouldn't say the fidelity is bad, I wouldn't say that's where these excel. Instead, features and function are what these do best. The directional audio is done very well, while the audio modes (ANC and Ambient) do what they say very well. I have 5 cats that tend to get into nonsense, and the ambient mode has allowed me to pay them proper attention while gaming. On the off chance I can zone in, the ANC completely cuts out fan noises and even most of whatever my partner is watching. Switching is simple and the headphones tell you what you just switched to. I almost wish I could completely skip ANC off since I never use it. The most surprising thing about these is how perfectly they fit my lifestyle. I don't always want to be at my desk to game, so I stream to my phone (bonus points for using Razer Kishi). The fact that I can just double tap the mode button and I'm now listening to my phone is awesome. No need to wait for pairing, and I've yet to have any connection issues. Mix in the gaming mode and suddenly these are the only headphones I use, period. Tl;dr: these headphones are all about the features, so make sure that's what is driving your choice before buying these. The features are extremely good, while the audio and build quality can feel middling.

Great headset
after my 3rd logitech headset going kaput, I wanted to try another headset and stick to the "gaming" aspect as I do enjoy the faux-surround. giving razer a shot, again, I do not regret this purchase. i use "movie" mode for games and it sounds very good. spatial awareness is precise, and I feel the THX spatial sound is a bit more "exact" and specific with its environmental sounds compared to using the DTS Headphone X: 2.0 which I find to be a good thing for what I play (Bf4, Bf1, R6, Battlefront 2). I have never had an issue with razer synapse in the past, so all the gripe people have with it I do not understand since I have had no issues with with my other razer peripherals. synapse gives lots of customization to make your sound profile fit what you like. bass boost, ANC, mic adjustments, and EQ are just a few things. battery life has been great. better than logitechs (12hrs is such crap). charging is fast as well - it was at 76% when I had first received the headset, and charging took less than 15 mins. the mic is standard - nothing special - it's enough to let the team, person, etc hear you and know what you are saying but that's it. it is nothing to drive home about. comfort is great - i havent had to take them off once during game sessions and they fit snug which i really enjoy. they dont feel like theyll fall off. the build quality is so-so - being that the headset is primarily plastic it does give it a cheap look and feel, but a heavier headset is not the smartest thing if you want to be comfortable in them, at least for me anyways. the band is at least metal when adjusting, so hooray for that. the switch button between Bluetooth and 2.4ghz is awesome. i use it all the time to play mobile games and my pc games. i really enjoy that i can use this headset with nearly everything i own without having to switch headsets constantly. super convenient. the carrying case is awesome! super nice and travel friendly. really like how that is included. all in all this headset, albeit i do feel the price should be maybe 50 or so dollars less, is worth the investment. for me, it's worth it as i can swap between mobile and PC without changing headsets and answer calls of course. the sound is great and very spacious. even if the headset may feel cheap, when using them you will think otherwise. if you need a new headset i do recommend these for both gaming and casual use.

Amazing headphones!
So, this review was made a while ago, like 3 months into using them. After I made the review, they started to crack around the hinges, and eventually the left headphone broke off at the hinge, and was hanging by a cord. Luckily, I got them replaced (good warranty), however, the replacement pair also broke in the same exact way. I'm not particularly rough with my headphones, and these are the only pair I've ever had this issue with. So, long story short, don't buy these. These headphones are overall amazing! I'll cut right to the chase with my favorite things about them. The smartswitch feature, where you can connect to two devices at once, is awesome! I love how even if you're connected to your PC with the USB-C dongle, if your phone gets a call you hear your ringtone. On the topic of smartswitch, I love how this works on gaming as well as with music. The synapse software is great because I like pumping up the bass when I listen to music, and I can do that with the software. On my phone, the Razer Audio app is also great for this. The headphones have pretty great bass that you can really feel. These headphones are also very comfortable. The earpads are very soft, and the headband is too. And the battery life is awesome. I can go days without having to give these a charge, and they seem to charge pretty fast. On that note, I'll move on to what's not so great about these. The case is huge. Since these headphones don't fold, they have to lay flat in the case, which makes for a huge case. The case is hard to fit in my backpack for when I want to take these to school, so I usually just settle for my earbuds, even though I'd love to take my headphones. Also, the headphones may be comfortable, but after a while, I've noticed them starting to hurt my ears, especially when they move or I take them off. It's not pleasant. But after a while of having them, I don't notice that as much. And yes, the bass is great - I can really feel it - but it kind of distorts the vocals in my music. It just makes it sound a bit staticky. And for my final con, I don't like how if I wear a hoodie, coat, or I'm just lying down, the volume wheel gets caught and my volume gets turned up or down. Now, in all, I believe the pros really outweigh the cons. The case may be huge, but I don't really use it that much. My ears don't hurt anymore. I can get used to the volume slider issue. My biggest issue is just the vocal distortion when the bass is up. If you're looking for a headset that you can game with and just use casually, this is the one to go for.

Don’t buy unless you have a committed Windows PC. Very Basic. Advertising is deceptive.
I am a casual PS5 gamer who is constantly on the move due to my based job. Luckily I can easily use my PS5 in my cabin. I was looking for something noise canceling due to vessel noises. Bluetooth to avoid more wires in cramped quarters. The ability to connect and use features on an app. They do a great job of throwing in your face how awesome all of these features are and the oh my! the “amazing” surround. But it just felt buggy when starting up my PS5 and trying to have the ability for phone calls to connect quickly as I am constantly on call and need to hear the phone. I saw the advertising and looked online. It seemed legit. They seemed very proud in the marketing. I was fooled by the capitalists again! Lol. I figured I was missing something and went to the website because the app is basic as can be. I thought there is no way they can boast about having all of these features but only have four or five “settings buttons” in the app, which are copies of the on set buttons and just adding extra steps to basic things like power on or ANC. And don’t switch inputs then back and expect to just be able to use the app. Nope. Gotta reconnect the app. I’m not a tech genius but come on, I’m a millennial so I should be able to figure something out. Sure enough I’ve been missing out on a whole program. But unfortunately that program isn’t going to work on the iPad or iPhone. So it’s VERY MISLEADING when you claim it’s compatible with apple products and force the whole “just download the App and take control of your audio experience!” down my throat in the Amazon page, but then restrict certain settings or features to a windows based program. I get It “apple sucks” “why are you gaming and using apple”. I’m not a jacka++. I am just limited in what I can bring onboard. It’s frustrating that it reads in bold how all you need is an app. But go to the help page on their desktop website and find that you need to download a program to set it up further. Hell the app doesn’t even have the user guide or basic controls set up downloaded to it without being forwarded to the desktop website. So NO it’s not FULLY compatible with Apple OS apps. From the other reviews I read it seems this is one of those bait and switch “we just want you money so we say whatever we think will hook everyone including non professional gamers”. Great idea, great design, just kind of missing some personalized control, and needs to be remade or reimagined by a different company. If anyone reads this and has anything that’s similar “wireless duel connection for PS5 and IPhone, quality noise canceling, around ear fit, good battery life, simple or sleek design not some childish ugly gamerboy BS, with on set controls, and an iOS app with full control and functionality” that’s under $500 and made by a company without a crappy customer care perspective, Please, Send me your recommendations. I listen on med-low volume. Have maybe used them for a combined 200 hours thus far in a month. The battery does NOT last 40 hours at 1/4 volume with ANC on. Fully charged im before first use. Also I think we can all handle one extra button that controls all of the connections besides using the power button for everything. “Designed by gamers/ for gamers” but marketed to everyone in the hopes the non gamers are dumb enough to not figure it all out before our scheming return policy period is over. Also, definitely “made in China.” Won’t be buying again from them.

Bought mainly for multi-computer work, also using for personal... 40hr Battery Life Concern
I had a wired headset provided for work, but they were "on ear" and while they didn't hurt while wearing them, at the end of the day I noticed it was bothering me, especially wearing them all day/week long. So I went looking for wired headsets that were over ear (but still let me hear ambient sounds), let me switch between 2 computers, allowed people to hear me clearly and had decent battery life. This lead me down the rabbit hole of advertisers claims and trying to pick the best ones from all the "free reviews" and "false reviews"... I had used a Razer mouse before and it was well built and worked. So, this checked the box for "known brand name" quality and then it's off to the features offered. Even though these were expensive, they were very reasonable compaired to other offerings I saw if it delivered on what it promised. The long advertised battery life was a plus, the ability to have ambient noise allowed in (this actually works well, not as good as if you were not wearing them, but good enough), not needing a boom mike (since I work from home, I am able to eat/drink/smoke and not having to move a microphone is a big plus), and able to use it on 2 computers by clicking a button on the headset (I wish it also came with a Bluetooth dongle, but they are inexpensive here on Amazon). I also like that I can pair it with my Amazon Echo and listen to music after work! After using them for a bit, here is what I have found... #1 Battery Life - I have not been able to get 40 hrs out of these, now I am not just listening but activly talking on these while in use, but I am only getting mid-20hrs out of a full charge. #2 Sound Quality (incoming/outgoing) - The sound of music and voices are great. The quality of my voice to others, I have not had anyone complain of not/having trouble hearing me. I have asked coworkers how I sound and they said fine. I believe that having a mic boom would give better quality, but its usable and the plus of not having something in front of your face is great! #3 Features/Buttons - The ability for these headsets to remember my last settings after power off/on is great (specifically the ambient noise). It took a bit to remember where the controls were once I started using it, but was second nature after a short while. The Active Noise Cancelation workd fine in my house with noise from fans, a/c and the like. Anything constant was taken care of by this, but occasional or sharp noises were not, but I will not be using this so I don't care. I dislike the mute button as you don't get a voice prompt (unike everything else), but I usually use the mute function in the software (Teams, Slack, Google) I am working with, like I previously did so its fine. #4 Software - On my work PC where I am not logged in as an administrator, it installed the headphone driver and works without issue, but I dont really have any control over the headset other than volume on the PC (which I use the volume wheel on the headset anyway). On my personal computer, I went ahead and installed the Synapse software and its bloated, I really dont need, but you have to install it to update the software (slow and not intuitive) and to see the battery life indicator. This is probably my biggest complaint for these headsets, is there is no easy/quick way to see the battery life left and you cannot use the headset while its plugged in and charging! #5 Case - Its well designed, has places for the cables, and the 2.4g adapter that hold them securely. It also protects the headsets well. But if your like me and use them at home, they will go straight to the closet. I only see these as useful for people who take their headsets while traveling. If the battery life falls below 20hrs I am sending them back, if it stays above this I will keep and am happy with them.

Calidad, sonido y duracion bateria
These Razer headphones are spectacular, with excellent sound quality, long battery life (a week with daily use), and they're comfortable. I wish the finish were more premium and the earcups deeper, but otherwise, they're very good. I recommend them.

Great headphones, but too easy to break.
Been exactly one year since I bought these. They’re definitely the most comfortable headphones i’ve ever purchased the noise cancellation and volume control is amazing. It’s pretty easy to use and I totally recommend. But I’m disappointed how easy they are to break, for the money you have to spend you’d think the headphone’s quality of material would be better instead of just a bunch of plastic. If you have the money these Id say these headphones are worth it just be careful with them because the plastic isn’t the strongest.

Wins vs Basic Barracuda and Audeze Maxwell 2
I got the basic barracuda before, as well as Audeze Maxwell 2. This headphone beats both in terms of comfort, craftsmanship, value for money, and fit. It also connects well across Razer devices. This product also comes with a case which is very nice. I do wish, however, that they left the 3.5 mm jack from the basic barracuda for this one too. Unfortunately it’s not there but the battery life on this thing is more than enough anyway.

Buy this if you want noise cancellation with good audio
This is one of the best headphones out there from Razer. It's comparable to the bose qc35 and the active noise cancellation is also surprisingly good. I played a YouTube video at full volume on my mobile phone while using my computer and surprisingly, it managed to cut off almost all the sound. The audio quality is also great with a custom equaliser setting and thx spatial. The size is right for my head and it's also very comfortable, the clamping force is just adequate. I usually use this with the 2.4 Ghz dongle so can't comment much on the bluetooth connectivity. If you prioritise audio quality along with noise cancellation and want something for gaming, then go for this. You won't be disappointed.

Great noise canceling gaming headphones.
Setting them up took a little, but once I started using them, honestly really damn good. ANC's perfect, since I live near a highway, it blocks out cars like a charm. Sound quality wise, I have no complaints. I do see how the cups might be a bit too restrictive and make your ears sweat, but I don't mind that if it means I get the best ANC and sound quality possible. Overall, a really solid pair of headphones.

Don't buy
After purchasing the Razer Barracuda Pro headphones, I was initially excited to use them as my all-around go-to-headset (office meetings, music, etc). Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Firstly, the microphone reliability is a significant concern. During Teams office meetings, the microphone would unexpectedly stop working, leaving my coworkers unable to hear me until I reset the headphones by turning them off and back on. This lack of reliability is a major drawback for anyone needing consistent office/Teams communication. Additionally, I frequently experienced a static sound, similar to static electricity, which was both annoying and disruptive to my listening experience. This issue persisted despite troubleshooting efforts, indicating a potential design flaw or quality control issue. I also didn't like the way it connected/disconnected from my devices. Unlike most modern headphones that allow seamless switching between devices by simply selecting the new device in Bluetooth settings, the Barracuda Pro requires a cumbersome process of disconnecting from the current device before connecting to another. This lack of convenience is a step backward in user experience. (I have several computers and a phone and want to be able to quickly connect.) Most troubling, however, is the lack of support from Razer customer service. After reaching out regarding the static noise and microphone issues, I was informed that my product was defective. Despite this acknowledgment, they refused to offer any resolution because the headphones were purchased through Amazon.ca. This response was not only unhelpful but also left me feeling abandoned by Razer, especially with the mention that purchasing from Amazon could invalidate warranty coverage. In conclusion, my experience with the Razer Barracuda Pro headphones has been deeply disappointing. From technical issues to unsatisfactory customer service, the drawbacks have significantly outweighed the benefits. I would advise potential buyers to consider these factors carefully before making a purchase, as the lack of reliable support and product reliability could lead to frustration and regret.
