Good for DIY
I have a number of Ryobi tools that all use the same 18V batteries. That is the main benefit. Ryobi tools, in my opinion, are not as robust as more expensive brands. But for the DIYer (i.e. me) they are well worth it. They do the job, and the multi-tool is no exception. One caveat: the model I bought requires the removal of a hex screw. I would recommend purchasing the slightly more expensive model that has a lever mechanism like those on the professional models.

Worth buying
If you are going to put in a bathroom this thing is worth ever penny and more. Cutting to go around door jams or around toilets, and cutting to go under molding fir flooring. Also used it when cutting out the floor we needed to replace. Help me even out lines so boards fit flush. Happy I bought it. If doing another job like this and my multi-cutter dies. I'll go buy another one. Best 100 or so I spent on this job. Kept my nephew engaged in putting in the floors. He had fun using it, and best of all it worked.
