Do Not Run Over 12 Volts for Maximum Life
I replaced power sucking halogens with these LED's on my boat. Immediately they started to burn out. It took me a bit but then I realized LED's, especially dimmable ones, can be very sensitive to supplied power. When plugged into shore power the battery charger regularly keeps the batteries up to over 13 volts. Bad!Since I installed a 12 volt up/down voltage regulator (also available on Amazon) which holds the voltage right at 12 volts I have not had any bulbs burn out. The light is brighter than the halogens, they are dimmable. Work great.I can only give a 4 star because I feel the supplier might mention this fact. Cost me a bit to figure it out.

Not Dimmable
These bulbs flash when dimmed. They also flash when used with a dimmer switch even when the switch is 100%.

Dimmable Range Is Not So Good
I use these in puck light for under cabinet lighting that used halogen bulbs. They barely fit the fixture. I had to put them in at an angle to get them to fit. Actually the very end of the tip of the bulb is touching the side of the housing above the bulb but work fine. They do have a plastic type coating on them so I'm really not concerned about that. They're definitely brighter than the original bulbs. I can tell you that an incandescent type dimmer will not work. I purchased the Lutron Skylark dimmer for LED's This has a separate range setting on the side of the switch for different dimming options depending on your fixture. Even with that at the lowest setting the lowest they dim to is around 50% brightness which is fine for my application without any flickering.

These are nice and small, yet generate a reasonably strong warm light
I used these for a light fixture for my Mother's dining room. They work great.Only negative thing I would say is, one of them burnt out. and they don't have a huge range of dimming, but that might have as much to do with my dimmer than the bulbs.

Good bulbs...but don't bend the tip at all!
These bulbs work and are dimmable. I had no failures out of the box. However, be very careful placing these in puck lights... if they don't fit and you put pressure on the tip, the leads break inside the bulb and it's dead. I broke 5/12 of these installing. Use needle nose pliers to slightly bend the pins to slide in the socket and make contact, and then push the LED bulb down to fit into the puck light. Then, they don't break. You can also trim 1-2 mm of the pin off too so they fit better and don't break as much.

This is the size you want!
If you are looking for LED replacements for under-counter halogen bulbs, these will fit! Most LED replacement bulbs are about a quarter to a half inch too big for many under-counter lights (most of the bulbs sold on Amazon will helpfully have the dimensions--look at them carefully!). These are very close to the size of the actual halogen bulbs, perhaps an eighth of an inch longer, and they fit in my small round under-counter fixtures. The light is very nice--warm, bright but not harsh. Highly recommend.

4W are great
I have these as landscape (path) lights for about 3 years now. The color, brightness, life has been great. Zero failures. They are a little bit taller than the 20W G4 halogen bulbs which came with the lights.I just purchased the 4W for some additional lights, and, sadly, it appears they are discontinued. I hope that they bring them back. I also have the 5W ones, and they are great, too.I have not had the failures or problems that others have. I run my landscape lighting at 12V (not 15V).

Reasonable color and stability but very short lifetime
I replaced all of my Quartz Halogen bulbs in my RV. Over 50 of the these particular bulbs. The color rendition is reasonable but varies a bit from one bulb to the next as does brightness, but in general they are acceptable and much safer and economical then the Quartz bulbs we replaced. Over the past 2 years I placed 5 orders. The bulbs began failing as soon as 2 months after installation. Presently, I have 26 failed bulbs as shown in the attached photo. I would like to request the company replace them as none of even the most recent failures have more than a small fraction of the stated 20,000 hour lifetime but cannot seem to find a way to contact them.
