Purchased this from another retailer for work. It works flawlessly and the user interface is very simple.

2nd Unit Just Failed in the Exact Same Way
It gets very frustrating when you buy an expensive product only for it's basic functionality to fail within a few months twice. The door will not shut on our current Traka21 Key Lock Box. The exact same issue the previous one had. I do not know what issues they have at their production facility but apparently the door is the weak spot of this unit. Purchase at your own risk.

Mul-T-Lock has the best key management systems
The Mul-T-Lock Traka 21 system is a fantastic way to manage your keys especially like us we have many employees and it can assist in giving out keys to the employee that has the authorization. Also if there is a key missing I know who has it.

Lock after a year door won't close
Product worked perfect till the 14 month then the door would't close, product only has a year warranty called support they said i'd just have to buy another 1.So if figured i'd see if i could fix cause i'd have to get a new 1 anyway. turns out the nut that holds the lock key underneath loosened up causing the lock mechanism not to go back up. so just take the back cover off loosen the nut futher up put lock tight and tighten it back up and you'll never have that problem again. Manufacture should have done that or a lock washer.

Faulty product
This company is a waste of time. I used to work there and believe me, their products are all the same, cheap materials, useless and very pricey for what u get. Save your money and go for the other brand. They are a scam!!

New $2000 unit must be purchase because Traka wont supply plastic part that holds the door closed.
This is a very useful product. Keeps keys organized, tracked, secure. You can download the users on a thumb drive to renter in case any thing is lost. However a plastic piece broke on the door due to incorrect factory adjustment that holds the door secure and releases the door when the assigned code is entered. Very easy to replace but I am told by the installing locksmith and the Traka manufacturing Company that a whole new unit must be purchased at $2000 because they wont supply repair parts. Very disappointing customer service for such a nice unit. Not sure what to do now.
