I had to constantly ride with my visor partially open in the 20 degree weather because I couldn't see anything at all because it was so foggy. Even with anti-fog spray and a balaclava to disperse the breath before it hit the visor, any more than 10 seconds at less than 30 mph and I was blind. I put this pinlock insert on my Ghost Bandit (which took maybe 10 seconds; it took longer to get the visor off than it did to install the insert) and now I can't fog up my helmet if I try. Literally, I was out the other day and tried to intentionally fog up my visor. I couldn't do it. Couldn't get more than the little area right above my nose. Nowhere near enough to interfere with my vision. And even that little bit took a concerted effort.
