The media could not be loaded.  John Murtagh’s general practice kindle edition - a good book but poorly edited.The text lines suddenly finish, followed by a big gap as if a new paragraph is starting- only to realise that it is in continuation. At places a new heading appears. But it’s text starts after a couple or paragraphs or from the next page.In ti initial pages where lab values are give. : the lab parameters are enumerated first, and then the values on subsequent pages - you can’t correlate the values to parameters .The text is referring to pictures - which are not there ! Similarly tables are very poorly represented- they don’t look like tables at all.Somdbody please look into this and improve it.Otherwise a good companion to general practice.

Libro molto ben strutturato, ricco di consigli pratici. Di grande utilità la parte dedicata al problem solving in medicina generale, nella quale a partire dal sintomo viene analizzato il percorso diagnostico-terapeutico. Purtroppo non più edito in italia da qualche anno. Tuttavia l'inglese utilizzato è molto semplice e di facile comprensione. Consigliato!

I was going to wait for a newer edition but sadly the author passed away, so I bought this book. Still I'm waiting for the 7th edition by his co-authors and expect it to be as detailed and just as well presented. It has detailed concise captions and being colourful is easier to read than most medical books!
