Good idea
Good idea, but definitely needs adhesive, not just small stick-on tabs that come with them...otherwise they fly off on the floor when you clean adjacent areas or stove top.

Good to cover space between stove and counter
Worked out quite well and matched stove color. I used some caulk to keep them from moving instead of the foam pieces that were supplied and then used almond colored caulk to seal the edges.
