I initially thought the large size would make this styling brush more effective, instead it made it too cumbersome for me to handle.

Ok so it DOES work. That is great BUT my favorite $40 hair brush straightener works better and is much lighter, has 12 heat settings with a led temp display, has a swivel cord, came with a velvet pink pouch, came with 2 hair clips, came with a glove and a comb... this is more than 3x the price and I got less of a experience from it and it’s heavy. It has only 3 heat settings that aren’t shown so you just have to choose a level and hope for the best.

I have long, wavy hair and I have mountains of it. About once a week I wash my hair, let it dry overnight & then straighten it the next day because it’s much more manageable that way. Obviously I’m doing a ton of damage to my hair, so I was always curious about these brushes. Since it doesn’t press heat on both sides it causes less damage. Unfortunately, this brush simply cannot straighten my mane, period. For purposes of this review I wanted to see how many passes it would take to get a small section straight. When I say small I do mean small- just from the bottom section of my hair. Well, by 11 passes I gave up. Wasn’t going to happen. My hair looked straighter, softer & sleeker, but not like it would with even just 2 passes with the clamp. However this brush is very, very well- made and does heat evenly. Im going to hold onto it for touch ups between washes and it’s ideal for that purpose. But if your hair is truly curly, this can’t serve as your main straightener.I hope you found this review helpful!

I have healthy, but fine hair with some natural wave and curl. I prefer to style it straight and I don’t mind if some natural wave comes back during a hot summer day, as long as it’s still smooth and has body. I’ve tried everything from the airwrap to the revlon brush and everything started out good, but ultimately was damaging my hair.This T3 is by far my favorite because I can take a decent home blowout and turn it into a smooth, polished look but keep the body from the blowdry. Other products I’ve tried took the volume out of my hair...in fact, it’s the only one I've seen that can smooth the ends AND lift your roots effectively.If you want smooth and/or straight hair with a natural yet polished look, this is a genius product that can eliminate the need for a flat iron.If you want more versatility like curls, beach waves, etc., this is might not be for you.Takes some getting used to minding the hot edges as you brush, but otherwise it’s easy to use and has been gentle on my hair at the lowest setting.Only wish it had auto-off function for peace of mind (not sure how they can leave that out for the price) and some instruction on how to clean it as product builds up. Otherwise it'd be 5 stars.

This T3 Edge Heated Smoothing & Styling Brush heats up very quickly and also heats evenly. It's great as a finishing touch on a home blowout and makes hair look and feel less frizzy and more polished-looking, without taking away all the volume achieved from a blowout.I usually really like the design of T3 hair tools, but I didn't like this as much as I thought I would. It's very large, which I don't mind, but it's also unusually heavy for a heated brush. Most T3 products are ultra light weight, so the heaviness was a surprise to me. My wrists tired quickly when using it, and so most of the time I reach for a traditional flat iron instead.
