I really want to give this a higher rating b/c it is a pretty neat tambourine and I really like the shape and sound. However, when it arrived it came to me with loose zils (little cymbals). How were they loose in the packaging? Well the nail (actual nail) had come loose from the plastic body. It seemed to be an easy fix...reposition the zils and add a little super glue to the point of entry for tip of the nail then allow to set. I decided to play the tambourine to see if any of the other nails would pop out and have had one other nail to do so at this time. No problem, I'll just use the super glue again. If this were the only issue, I'd give it 3 stars. However, nails and loose zils would be extremely dangerous for young children, especially on an instrument I can see would easily catch their eye. So, if you have ordered this and have small children, please be aware of this, keep it away from them and maybe add super glue to the tips to be on the safe side.

Perfect Perfect Perfect. Bought this as a surprise gift for my mother on her 90th birthday celebration. She started playing it immediately and loved loved loved it! She loved the grip and playing it. Delivery was right on time. Instrument has the best tone, weight and grip.

Being a Nanny for 6 years, this is by far the best tambourine I've ever used with the kids! Even the nice wooden ones do not have the ergonomic grip like this one does that fits adult hands and children hands. This one is also much sturdier, but not heavy for the little wrists. The syllables are also distanced so that they have a nice sound. My niece is in love with her new birthday present along with the rest of her new percussion instruments. We needed a switch up from her harmonica!

This is a beautiful tambourine we use at church. Weighty enough without being too heavy. The bright colors attract the young ones too. Excellent sound. Not a toy. Great price. Thank you.

Love this tambourine! The sound is wonderful! It is a beautiful color making it fun to use. I am using it for a tap dance!. It is heavier than a regular tambourine because of the great sound. The weight is not enough to interfere with playing. The color and sound is perfect and makes it very special!

We had fun allowing the grandkids to add their music to our Christmas songs at our Thanksgiving/Christmas week together. The tambourine is well-made, sturdy, the handle is conveniently placed, and it's loud enough for the children to feel important and a part of the music. I pretended to be giving them tambourine lessons and they fell for it. Lots of laughs.

I bought 3 Passion ToolBox Double Row Tambourines to donate to a local school which has no music budget and depends on the public for musical equipment. Although promised to be suitable for adults and children, I thought I'd better check them out to make sure that was correct. The shape of the tambourine and the handle truly does make it easily playable for both adults and children. And bonus round ... the sound is great! I bought these tambourines because I needed a few instruments for my friends to play along so we can jam out together. I have bought a pitch pipe from Passion toolbox in the past and I love their stuff. i would recommend this product to a friend no doubt.
