I've always used the cheaper Fiskars and other brands, some around the $30-40 mark and was always disappointed how they cut. They are usually pretty sharp at first but they quickly get dull. These on the other hand are extremely sharp right out of the package, way sharper than any pruners I have ever used and it's not even close. And they stay sharper due to the high carbon content, that makes them extremely hard but also brittle so you must take care to not drop them and keep them oiled or they will rust. Camellia oil is recommended to use, also get a cheap holster for them as well to protect them. STOP HESITATING, JUST BUY THEM ALREADY!! Haha for real I had them in my cart for months debating if I wanted to spend that much on pruners, wish I would have bought these ten years ago.
