Make sure that the top front of the saw base has at least 1/2 inch of space or more across the width of the shoe or base so that the sled of the Rip-Cut can attach to the saw base. Make sure that the front of the base does not angle or curve upward any more than 1/2 inch. The last thing is to make sure that the width of saw base is wide enough so that both lock downs on the sled can make contact with the saw base.
