I keep it in my backpack just in case I ever do need it. One thing I didn't like was when it was in my pack, it was in two peices, simple fix, I just drilled a new hole to keep them together when not in use. The picture shows where I drilled the new hole in yellow. Red was the original hole just to keep the pin.
