If you are considering purchasing this case, I suggest you stop and read this review first. I ordered this case on December 7, 2014 and just received it today on December 22. I ordered it from AFTER ROMEO WORLD, an Amazon seller. Currently, as well as at the time I ordered, they are the only seller listed on the product page.I agree with the other reviewer who suspects that the product pictured is not the one being sold by AFTER ROMEO WORLD. I expected to wait a while to receive this case, as it was back-ordered at the time I placed my order. What I did not expect was to receive a different case than the one pictured. The case pictured on the website clearly shows that the hinges holding the front and back of the case together are made of two parts. One part clips over part of the front of the case, and the second part levers back to pull the two sides of the case snug together. In one of the product’s pictures, you can clearly see those hinges wrapping around the back of the phone. I specifically purchased this case—at a cost of $60—because of this hinge design. It resembles the hinge used in the Otterbox Armor series I had on my iPhone 5, which was a tank of a case. What is great about that hinge design is that it makes it easy to put the case on correctly (so it is water tight) and take the case off on a routine basis without fear of wearing out the hinge over time. Since Otterbox hasn’t announced an Armor series for the iPhone 6, and since this is the only thing I could find that looked remotely similar, I took a chance with an unknown quantity. That chance has not paid off.The case I received does not contain the two-part hinged latch I just described. Instead, the clips on the sides and bottom of the phone are a single piece, and do not wrap around the back of the phone. The clips simply push in to latch, and I am certain they will loosen up over time. In fact, the case I received bears a striking resemblance to cases being sold on Amazon and on a popular auction site for much less—in some instances less than $10.In addition to the issue with the hinge, overall the case is of low quality. The clear plastic feels like it will shatter at the first drop. The film that fits over the iPhone’s screen sticks to it, producing an oily distortion effect wherever you touch the screen. (Though I did not read the product instructions to see if there is a way to avoid this before packing it back up for return.) Finally, there is no way to access the ringer switch while the phone is in the case.I am frustrated by the fact that I waited patiently for two weeks to receive this case, only to find out I was defrauded by the product description. I do not recommend that anyone buy this case—it is not true to the advertising and not worth the current price of $60 plus shipping. I will certainly not purchase anything from AFTER ROMEO WORLD in the future.

I received this case after a long wait after ordering. The case is a bit larger than I thought it would be. The case is made of a hard plastic. Not sure how it will fare if dropped, since there is no rubber for it to bounce off of. At the top of the case the front and back are hinged. The Sides have a clip latch that must be locked in order to attach the front and back. The fingerprint area is covered with a small black rubber button, so using the fingerprint recognition with this case is a "no go". That was a bit disappointing. Now I can definitely attest that the case is fully sealed. The volume button and on/off buttons are covered with a rubber button. Now I could tell that this case fully being sealed did affect the sound when a call came through speaker phone. I could hear the caller, but the callers voice did not sound as crisp as when the phone speaker was left uncovered. I opened the case and on the inside of the case is an area that you sit your phone down into to keep the phone from moving when inside the case. The front part of the case has a plastic cover that covers the phone face. I have used alot of cases and most of them have issues with responding to the touch. This one did pretty good. It only had issues around the edges. Aside from that and how bulky it was in size, this case was good.

Ok so first thing I have to say is that if you're looking for an everyday case this is NOT the case for you. I have two kids ages 10 & 6 and we attend water parks and friends pools all summer long. We enjoy taking photos but also enjoy swimming. This case is perfect for the beach, waterpark and pool days. I only put it on when we are going to be in the water and I leave it on and closed once we are there.With this case you need to put it on when it's dry and leave it on till you're done in the water for the day. If you take it off In between water can get on the sealing ring and it might not seal correctly again. Once it's off let it air dry at least overnight before using again.I have used this dozens of times with my iPhone 6 and have never had a leak, construction is solid and it's made to do what it says and be waterproof, it's not meant for fashion it's meant for use in water only. Great case I've thrown it in the pool put it on the bottom of the pool while recording and it's held up great, my 10 yr old uses it and it's held up.

Hey, here's a real review of the case that i received just today. It came with a piece of paper with warning on it saying each time before use the case should be inspected and tested in water BEFORE you put the device in. SO i did, i tested the case by itself and then tested with the iPhone in it, no leaks. The case looks solid, the quality is pretty good. The only few things i didn't like is the size. I initially thought they by mistake shipped a case for the iPhone 6 Plus :) I got it for use only when i go to the beach, in my opinion it's too big to wear it everyday since i like the slim design of the iPhone itself and i usually keep the iPhone without the case. It doesn't have the silent mode switch and you'll not be able to use the Touch ID (which i use actively every day). The picture might make you believe the sides are made out of metal, but actually it's clear plastic. Plastic quality doesn't feel cheap. Even with the things that i didn't like i left 5 stars because i perfectly understand it has to be a compromise between device safety and convenience of using it. Also would like to say that their customer service is A+, had specific issues to resolve, they did it in timely manner and without a headache. Totally Satisfied.

Good protection however the operation of the phone is hampered by the case. The earpiece and ringer volume are also muted by the case.
