I have not used the item as I only just received it. I plan to this weekend, however. I did want to respond to some of those reviews that said there were no numbers on the tips. While they are not correlated to Wilton's tips, the numbers are there - they are "stenciled" on and you need to turn the tips to be able to see them as they are quite faint. Once you find them, you do have a sheet that is included that has what each tip will look like on your cake, etc. It's small, though, and many are quite similar to each other as they are just a different size of the same thing. The instructions on how to load the pen is on that sheet, too. (If you don't/didn't get the sheet, there are other companies who sell the same thing and you can find the information there. It's very easy. All in all the set seems to be quite nice. I do hope that the seams in the tips do not interfere with the designs, however.

So, apparently different companies number their tips differently. If you are taking a class that requires specific tip numbers, these numbers won't correlate to those tips. They do cover a lot of the tips that are most commonly use, and you should be able to match them up to the numbers in your class or when a decoration direction calls for a specific tip (depending on your needs) . Unfortunately, I didn't realize all sets have different numbers. What was more unfortunate was the lack of disposable bags in the set. They were just sheets, like half of a bag that wasn't finished. So I decided to return the set and gave them a one star review.That's when their customer service stepped in and contacted me. They were very responsive and they have already processed my return without returning the set. They are also sending me the disposable bags, which is greatly appreciated. I just got really into decorating and I am going through a lot. Their customer service was great, and really changed my whole experience.

I shopped around a TON looking for the perfect cake decorating set. It fulfills close to everything that I wanted. I really wanted the tips to be numbered so I could have a better idea of what the frosting will look like. I found that with these tips except that the kit does not include any sort of guidance as far as pictures like, "tip 4 looks like this [picture of frosting with tip 4]". They are easy to clean and the quality of the tips themselves is good. The seams on the tips were fine, they didn't impact how the frosting came out at all. The box provided to put the tips in is flimsy feeling and does not close properly. The bags were all up to par. Overall if you're looking for a cheap set of a huge amount of frosting tips then I'd still say this is your best option. Everything works just fine as long as you don't mind having to look up what tip makes what design or having a case for it that doesn't close well

This is a very economical and well made set of cake decorating tips.I am an experienced cake decorator and I expect to figure out how to use the "cake decorating pen" which was included.I am glad I bought it.BUT: Unpack the plastic case from the box it came in very carefully, because you will need the cardboard box to hold the bags and pen and brush once you assemble the tip-holding-box.The tips are packed in random order, number wise. Plan to spend a little time inserting the spacers into the plastic box and sorting the tips, number wise. Probably 20 minutes.The tips will go, two to a space, in the plastic box. Thankfully they go into the box with their tips facing up, so you can see which tip you want when you go to decorate.The website contains no directions, just photos of all of the components.

Great starter set but numbering is way different than Wilton. Excellent value

I removed a star because there are no paper instructions on basic tip use, like how to pipe a rose and what tip etc. This isn't a huge deal for me because I can just Google it. But there are a lot of people out there who may not have that luxury and just have to guess. Easy to clean, I got everything in the picture, decent quality for the price.

I like the tips and bag quality although there are NO instructions on the inside of what there is or which tip to use best for what type of design. Regardless, it was extremely easy to use and assemble and the disposable bags made it a breeze to clean up. Super easy for beginners like myself although if you are new to using tips do your research what tip to use for what if you plan to buy this set.

What a great set! I was looking for a product tjat was easy enough fir me to handle as I was a begginer in baking. This is just it!Product comes in a plastic box that you can keep everything really organized and part wont get lost. I love the varity of the heads,you can choose so many shapes it's crazy. The blue handle is eady to use and helps take all the frosting out of the bag. I would recommend this to every friend I have. This is great for baking with kids as well.

I ordered this just 3 days ago and it came in record time where it was earlier showing 21st May as the actual delivery date..However it didn’t have the extra cake decorating pen which was supposed to be a bonus.

Absolutely wonderful for someone that has arthritis in their hands/fingers. Easy to use with little pressure.

Product seems fine. Wish there was some kind of manual to show what each tip can do, but overall, good purchase
