Complete Write a Novel Course (Teach Yourself) Paperback – October 29, 2010

This book didn’t help me at all. I don’t see why ‘course’ is in the title. It is not. Maybe it just wasn’t for me. I had better luck with YouTube videos.

I have only just started the Teach Yourself Novel Writing book but so far it is chatty, full of information that makes you want to read on and complete the exercises. I do these moreso for keeping my brain ticking than to actually publish. And what better way than expansive creative writing.

A great book, very readable and full of useful and practical advice, lots of exercises. It covers a range of different types of fiction, not just literary.
