I have an addiction to Subway spicy Italian salads. Now, I buy all the ingredients and use my Mezzaluna for the perfect all-chopped (meat, cheese, olives, banana peppers, cucumbers, lettuce) salad. It chops all of it. I just throw my ingredients in a big bowl and Mezzaluna away. The blades are far enough apart that nothing gets stuck between them. And, the blade protectors are a bonus.

Where I put arrows are all very sharp RAW metal edges. They are not smoothed out. You have to be mindful that the device can scratch and tear your skin. The metal cover does not fit, so the knife edge is also exposed during storage. I am not sure how there is no quality control on such device to make it to the market. This seems like a dangerous device. I did not want to hazard the danger of cutting myself with my vegetables so I am returning the device. Also, the knife is not sharp forcing me to put additional pressure and finessing.

Make the best chopped salads now....Sharp blades easy to clean . Great price. Cut through spinach peppers onions cucumbers tomatoes cashews like melted butter .....

I love the chopped salads at Subway but not the cost so I figured why not make my own? This is exactly what I needed to make my chopped salads at home. Highly recommend.

I love this product. My one complaint is that the knives are super sharp but the guards do not stay on very well so you have to be super careful with them.

It didn't cut the lettuce! Perhaps it would work for someone much stronger than me. I just know that for someone who doesn't have much strength in their arms, it DOESN'T work. The rubber blade protectors don't stay on. Rather dangerous to keep in a drawer.

The rubber For cover the blazes can’t stay on the blazes after use. Need to be careful don’t get cut when restore in the drawer.
