Pizza Wheel Replacement & more!
LOVE THIS THING! We use a ‘standard’ wheel pizza cutter a lot in our house. I have 2 kids under 10 and have used a wheel pizza cutter for pizza, pancakes, waffles....anything where using a knife is more work. We had something similar to this item in a drawer but it didn’t have a sharp edge at all & was a rectangle shape but worked for some foods. I took a look for a similar (sharper) tool on amazon & saw this. It’s awesome. It’s sharper but not like a new knife, the curve & over all length make it ideal on a plate. Fits within the plate edge (on a ‘medium’ paper plate- think that’s 9 or 10 inches round) and slices right thru the foods mentioned. I use it more & more whenever it seems easier than other utensils. I bought a second one this week. It’s easy to clean vs a round pizza cutter because food can sometimes get stuck on the center of the wheel part. This is just swipe - swipe & it’s clean. Oh & it has an edge protector for when it’s in the drawer or whatever. Snaps on easily. I’ve had it maybe a few weeks so can’t comment on how it holds up over a long time but it feels solid.Recommend!

Perfect for one with arthritis
I have difficulty keeping a grip on things and my hands quickly begin to hurt as I'm trying to prepare a meal, and a rocker knife was suggested in an arthritis magazine. When this KoBzA pizza cutter was offered as a Lightning Deal I thought I would try it.I was a little skeptical at first because it is lighter than I expected but I found this is quickly becoming one of my best kitchen tools. I can't speak for it's use as a pizza cutter because I don't make pizza but it's made my life so much easier and comfortable in many ways. I haven't had it for long but so far I've used it for preparing vegetables and meat for fajitas, mincing eggs and vegetables for egg salad, cutting up a rotisserie chicken, and even cutting a grilled ham and cheese sandwich, and each time the task was much easier than using a traditional knife. The knife is somewhat light which is a plus, and it feels sturdy and balanced. It's very sharp and comes with a hard protective cover for the edge that fits snugly so it won't fall off. The grip is very comfortable; it's soft so it's easy to hold and my hand doesn't slip when using it. There was a learning curve involved because I tended to press down on the cutter but once I used the rocking motion to slice it went through food very easily. This item is one of those things I didn't know I needed it until I got it. I wish I'd bought one sooner!

Better than "real" Ulu Alaska knives (most of which aren't real at all but toys)
Very practical knife! A lot of these so-called "Ulu" Alaska knives are little more than toys--little souvenir knives you can't even get your fingers in if you have big hands like mine. But this "pizza cutter" is better than most Ulu knives you'll ever find, and half the price of many of them. It's extremely sharp (found out the hard way), and comes with a nifty little curved black rubber blade guard to protect the knife, as well as protect your appendages. We love it for chopping salad greens, especially, but it could easily cut through anything else.Wooden bowls or curved cutting boards for this and "Ulu" knives can cost 6 times the price of the knife; we just use a glass Pyrex bowl we bought at Salvation Army for $2.99. Works great and hasn't dulled the blade.

better than a wheel
I really wasn't sure about this kind of pizza cuter vs a wheel. I took a gamble. I can say that I'm sold. You will have to rock this across the pie ... it's not a single slice. But I came to realize that that is ... not even remotely an issue. It's great in that it's so much easier to control and to CLEAN than a wheel. Makes good cuts and slices and is more multifunctional than a pizza wheel. I'm never going back to a wheel, honestly.

Its an Ulu......
This is our traditional knife in Alaska. We call it an Ulu. We cut moose hide for mukluks, we cut chunks of whale blubber called mutuk and we descale fish, cut anything we need to cut. You can cut anything with an ulu. What I like about this ulu is it stays pretty sharp, its super comfortable to use, and easy to clean. Its not too big, and its not too small. Very nice. I also have cut very thin delicate slices of Ahi Tuna or Salmon for sashimi with this..Ulu. I do not eat pizza but this is the traditional shape and size of our Alaskan Ulu and as an Elder, I think this is a well made ergonomic product. I have arthritis and find this safer and easier to grip and also sharpen.

The perfect pizza slicer
First super fast shipping. Also a follow up email to ask if knife is what I expected. Who does that? A great company that’s who!!!To the knife. I am knife guy love chefs knives and meat cutting knives. This knife is awesome. I really bought it for slicing pizzas. When you use a chefs knife it’s very hard on its edge to slice pizza.By design this is a perfect knife for pizzas and tons of other uses. It should stay sharp a good long time.

Larger than expected
I have had and used an Ulu we got on a trip to Alaska for a long time, and it's one of my favorite tools for chopping and cutting pizzas. But, since it's somewhat decorative with a wood handle it's not dishwasher safe, so I decided I wanted to get something that I could use and toss in the dishwasher and be done, so I picked this. It's significantly larger than the Ulu I had before, which is good for somethings. It still works in the Ulu chopping bowl I had so that's nice. The handle could be a bit more ergonomic. If the top were a bit wider, it would reduce the pressure on the palm of your hand and would be more comfortable, but it's not bad unless you're cutting quite hard.It also comes with a thin blade protector which is nice though it doesn't stay on terribly well as it's not very deep and is wider than the blade.

Use it so much we had to buy a second one!
Bought one to replace an ulu we lost. This thing is perfect for more than cutting pizza. It is simple, and handles many taksk better than. A regular knife, due to the rolling cutting motion. The open handle is practically perfect, and we love the durability and dishwasher survivability of this knife. We had to order a second one, because of how much we use it.
