Takyae Men's Slim Leather Band Casual Analog Quartz Watch Black

There are a slew of minimalist dress watches around this same price point, so I figured I'd compare a few of them for the sake of those looking for this sort of watch and are unsure what sets them apart:Takyae: Watch itself looked good in person, not too flashy but still on the classy side. The glass sits flush with the frame of the watch and overall the watch has a nice minimalist profile. The band felt very very cheap and I would stay away from this one as a gift. If you've got a replacement band on hand then this could be just as nice as the Biden or Tonnier.Biden: watch was pretty good looking in person, not too much bling but nice. The band is fairly easy to adjust, but a little long for my small wrist so the extra tucked under the band rubs a bit more than I'd like. The biggest downside to this watch for me was the glass is actually slightly bulbous, so it sticks above the frame of the watch, looks a little silly to me, and seems like it could get scratched easily. This watch had slightly nicer packaging than the Takyae or Tonnier.Tonnier: Watch looked nice in person, the bright gold was flashy and easy to read. Came with a band very similar to the Biden, but with a small tool making the band much easier to adjust. Also, had the same issue with rubbing on the inside of my wrist. This would be my pick of the three watches for an eye-catching wrist accessory.All of these watches were nice and light, fairly minimalist, had the exact same diameter, and felt just a little bit cheap to me. I don't think anyone would spot them as a bargain watch at a glance, but I wouldn't try to impress the boss with one of these. Also, the hands on all of them appeared a little wimpy to me and I wouldn't count these holding up a decade, but for the price they're perfectly fine.I'm giving this three stars because I really didn't like the stiff/cheap first impression from the band and the other options were just better for a few dollars more.

For the price of the watch, you are getting a great deal.The watch looks great, fits great, and feels very durable. Comes with a replacement battery should yours die.

Great looking watch!Trying to pry off the back cover to insert the battery was most difficult and I am very good with fixing things.This cover was a real challenge and I have the correct jewelers tools to use.Took me over 15 minutes.Other than that I would have given it 5 stars

DO NOT BUY This watch is a huge piece of garbage. I never post reviews to Amazon, but I felt I needed to let everyone know how crappy this thing is. This watch can't keep time. Within two hours of setting it, the watch was already 5 minutes behind. Within a day, it was over an hour off. Terrible purchase.

Works fine, looks OK, but need a jeweler to open the back of the watch for battery placement. Also, comes with an alkaline battery; don't know if there are more long-lasting batteries available.

Cheap but quality. Get one, you won't regret it.

Very simple and classic for low cost.

It looks good. Since it was so cheap, I didn't expect it to last too long, and it did break in the first three months of having it. I think it's a good short term watch, and is good because it looks fancy.
