We are going to be embarking on a VERY long road trip soon so I was looking for anything that would help our kids endure it. At first I thought that this was crazy over priced but purchased 2 anyway. Once they arrived I was blown away with the quality. The lap surface is padded for comfort but still hard enough on top for them to easily color or draw. The side pockets are great for holding markers/crayons or whatever. The top little basket areas are amazing for keeping the markers and crayons from rolling off the top of the tray and away from the kids. We tested these on a short trip to visit family and I think they are going to be amazing for our extended trip! The kids love them!

My 4 year old daughter loves this! We are taking a six hour road trip this weekend, so we have been "practicing" with it. She has colored on it and had a snack on it. It's sturdy, but still has some flexibility (which you need for the safety factor of being in a car and potential accidents!), the side pockets are easily accessible for crayons, etc. it can be used with or without the belt around her body. (My husband prefers the idea of using it without so it's easier/faster to get her in and out of the car, but I don't think that matters much to me.) Also, they include a small pack of crayons, so she was able to start coloring immediately on a scrap piece of paper I had on me. I looked at several styles of lap trays, but reminded myself that you get what you pay for. This might be a tad bit higher than some of the cheaper versions on this site, but those are cheaper for a reason. My daughter has a big Chico caraway and it fits well over it. Anyway, I would highly recommend this product. If I can edit my review later, I'll post a picture of her using it. 💗💗💗

This tray is perfect! I purchased this for a 7 hour car trip and it was the best thing I could have purchased! It was comfortable, so my kids kept it on their laps for the entire ride. They were able to play with toys on it, color in their coloring books and I put a paper towel down (to keep it clean) for lunch in the car. I bought a third for my baby coming in October for when she is big enough

Great tray, bought two and kids really enjoy the opportunity to both draw, eat, and watch devices on the tray. Colorful, soft, flexible yet firm enough to manage those tasks without difficulty. Side pockets and waist strap are handy options too. Overall great tray for kids 4+ and up.

We just received our two trays that we ordered and unfortunately they have a strong smell. My 6 year old right away said they smelled like smoke. I’m curious to know why or what they’re made of... we have a long drive coming up to California and I’m not sure if we can use these. The durability is fine and they were packaged great but the smell is very strong.I am changing my rating from a 2 to a 4. The seller have offered to make it right quickly and I truly appreciate that kind of customer service. Like previously stated they are good quality as well.

Saved us on a family trip. Daughter loves the fact she had a place for her toys and food. Easy to install and uninstall during rest breaks. The side slots for crayons and little toys are great

Bought this tray over the other ones because of the colors. This worked perfect for our 4+ hour drive. Wish it had a sunk in cup holder, that would make it perfect. Over all would recomend for drawing on, playing with smaller toys and to place snacks on. We used this with a Safety1st Alpha carseat.
