I bought this cat tree 5 years ago and my cats and I love it. It's nice and tall, and they always sleep on the highest perches. The perches are cushioned on the bottom and the sides, and they are big, so my adult cats fit no problem. The platforms are thick and solid and the whole thing is nice and heavy. The base is large, so it is very sturdy and it doesn't tip over or wobble when they play on it. The sisal rope and the material that covers everything are of good quality, and it still looks great after all these years. I followed the assembly directions and it was easy to put together. This tree is worth every penny. I'm so glad I bought it, and I'd buy it again.

Wow! What an Awesome (with a Capital A) cat tree! Heavy-duty for sure... and, in the off-chance that cat could make it unstable, there is a wall/stud mount that would easily offset any temporary imbalance. To make it even sweeter, I ended up with extra parts, and, to me, that says, "we know stuff happens, and we care!" Truly, high-quality construction... fairly easy to put together (I only messed up once), where the top, "apartment," gets internal supports. Anywho, I wish every company would take the care and effort to deliver this level of quality.

Relatively easy to assemble and, without a wall anchor involved, it's quite stable. My cat is older and less inclined to run like a maniac up the cat tree so, depending on your cat's energy level, consider using the included anchor. The design is great with plenty of places for one or more cats to sit without fights over space. I chose to remove the lower cat room to create a larger open area for the cat to look out the front window of my living room. It's nice to have that option without compromising the integrity of the tree overall. The bottom is designed so you don't need to worry about scratching a wood floor if you move the tree around - that's nice, too. My cat's new favorite place to be so I can say I would buy it again if I had to do over. If you're looking for a reasonably priced cat tree with a lot of bells and whistles for your furry friend, this is a great pick.

I am a certified cat behaviorist and a registered veterinary technician. I try to choose products that I think will best suite my cats and my clients who I work with for behavior problems like inappropriate urination and aggression. I just bought this cat tower to replace an old cat tower that I had for 2 years because it was starting to break down and fall apart which is fair when you consider that I have 15 cats. This tower was a bit challenging to put together in contrast to other cat towers I have put together but it is simply because it is of much higher quality and is better constructed. The cat tower still only took me an hour to put together while other cat towers took about 30 minutes. The extra time is worth it. All of the tools were well categorized and the instruction were really easy to read which I don't often find to be the case. While most cat towers will move when multiple cats jump onto the tower or play around the tower - the Songmics large cat tree condo does not move or wobble with even my largest cats. I had 3 cats that were over 15 pounds on the cat tree at one time and it did not even move a little bit. My favorite quality of this cat tree is the fact that there is so many different resting locations and hiding locations which can fit even the largest domestic cat which is ideal for a household with multiple cats. Being able to hide, be up high and capable of viewing the entire area around them along with given the proper amount and size of scratching posts to use is part of what will make your cat stress less. This tower is able to meet all of my requirements in order for me to use it and recommend it to clients. The most unique part of this tower is the fact that it has side ledges which I find both well designed and fun. With so much space - your cats won't have any problem sharing. This transforms the cat tower into a playground for kittens and adult cats alike when you factor in the top beds and the hiding holes. The hanging cat toys are fun and do not break easily like the cat toys that accompany other toys of different brands. The base of the cat tower is made with top grade materials and the posts are made of high quality sisal which is the best scratching material for cats. I was highly impressed with this cat tree and will be buying a couple more for my cats in addition to recommending it to clients on a routine basis as the go to cat tree for multiple cat households. It is rare for me to find a cat tower that meets all of my strict requirements in one tower. This tower has far surpassed every test that I usually run a cat tower through which is why I am going to highly recommend this tower to everyone!

We have 2 large cats. It's big enough and sturdy enough for both of them without taking up too much floor room. It was easy to assemble which I really appreciate. Don't tighten everything super tight because I ended up breaking the base of the highest piece. So frustrating, still a nice tree. Our cats love it.

We bought this unit after owning other high quality units. We adopted 2 newborn pure breed Highlander kittens. The male is said to top out @25 lbs - potentially. Having a male and a female - we wanted a tree that they would not outgrow, if possible. This unit is the best of its type that I personally have seen or owned. Its assembly instructions are spot-on and although it could take a max of an hour - it is not difficult at any phase of assembly. The columns are many and ALL of them are scratching posts. It includes a wall strap but we have not used it yet and the unit seems to remain very stable - despite our now 7 month old kitties being SUPER RAMBUNCTIOUS in their coming and goings. Our male is only 9 lbs now but they constantly chase through the house leaping on and off each of it perches without threat to the unit wobbling or falling. The condo sectons were used more when they were kittens but still get used during certain games of play when the two get going. The quality of construction, materials, and design are top notch. The one plus very worthy of stating is the plushness of the 3 perch cushions. My kitties would probably be fine with bare wood but the cushions are so super soft - sharing a microfiber covering with the other portions of the tree - they are always popular for cat napping. The price seemed high at the time but this unit is tall, large, well designed and worth the cost. Stability, comfort, and longevity are all present for multi-cat homes in spades. I waited 7 months to write this because the kittens were so young when we bought it. But now that they are like wild cats bouncing around our house, I feel like it is safe to post my positive recommendation without fear that they weren’t heavy enough yet to properly judge the ability of the tree to withstand full power use. This model was a good purchase. Ours is located by a window where the kitties can see outside and they still use it everyday and can be found on it - in it - or around it often.

It has been a few months now and this tree is very sturdy. It has not failed us yet. My Yorkie, is 2 years old) has been working his way up into the tree. It was first on the third level. We couldn't figure out how. Then recently he has gotten to the the forth level. He loves it. The only thing is he can't get down. I think Missy, the cat, is the instigator. Unfortunately we have moved the chair that was helping him get up there. We don't want him to fall. He is not part cat where they land on their feet. We are very happy with our tree. I had bought a cat tree from some web site for $50 and it looked great the cats loved it also, but it fell apart in a month. IT would wobble when the cat jumped on it. So I was concerned with this order. The pictures show this had posts in all the right spots but were made with the same stuff the other one I had. I went ahead and bought it even at the price being more then I thought I really wanted to spend. I got it and laid out all the pieces and put it together by myself and it took about twenty min. As the pieces went together I had NO wobble in the posts, which I was happy to see, everything made sense as it got taller as to why my first tree was unsuccessful, the placement of the posts is really important to prevent any wobble. The carpet is very nice maybe not real carpet but the fabric is soft which the cats love. I am so happy with my purchase I would recommend this to anyone. My cats love the tree they climb to the top and sleep very comfy. Mind you I have 1 big Main coon cat, 1 calico skinny and 1 very happy and fat cat that is a little slow. The "slow" cat is one to not move around much and is not comfortable climbing on things and we have found her on the middle section sleeping very happy then she went to the next level. We are seeing some great improvement in her all due to the tree, maybe or not. Go buy this and don't think twice.

I upgraded my cat's scratcher/tree and it took them a few days to suss it out but now they love sleeping on the plush beds and all the different levels and hidey spots. The great part was the thoughtful people supplied one extra screw/part of each and spare dangly pom poms. That was fantastic and surprising, since you don't see that kind of generosity. Highly recommend it - it arrive quicker than expected and was packaged carefully. Great communication from seller too.

This was a purrrrrrrfect purchase from ordering to putting together. It arrived right on time, and was conveniently packed so it was easy to unpack and put together. They gave you all the tools you needed and really well done instructions. It took me about an hour and a half to put together by myself (most of that time was spent trying to get the cats to stop playing on it long enough to get the bolts in). They even gave you instructions on how to recycle the box it came in into a little house for the cats so that it didn't go to waste! I have three cats - one small, one medium, and one chubby. All three of them play on it at the same time and it's really sturdy. They love the jangly balls and the beds. The actual house parts they don't use too much but I think that's more my cats issue than the house itself. It came with a strap to tether to the wall for stability but I haven't needed it, and my chubby guy makes a running jump at it on a daily basis. The carpeted parts are really nice and soft and there's no excess fluffs like other cat trees. It makes vacuuming it really easy. It's really nice to wake up in the mornings and see two of my cats sleeping on it. I get a cute little meow when I walk by and I rub both cats to wake them up. The third one likes my laundry hamper the best for sleeping. :P Overall I would say definitely worth the money and time. I would recommend it to everyone. I will be ordering from them again when I need something of the same nature.

This scratch castle is absolutely phenomenal. My cats love it! My boy is very big and I was excited because other people with big cats said I thought it was navigated easily. For the first week it was a little hard for him to figure out his confidence on some of the narrow where spots as he lacks confidence and doesn't believe in himself all the time, now he navigates it like a pro! It has changed their lives for the better! It is so sturdy and there are so many areas for them to play and explore and chase each other. I cut out a square of fabric on the largest cubbyhole opposite the entrance. This makes it so that they can go in and look out the window and it also gives someone a route of escape if their sibling is chasing them so they don't get trapped. I cut a few smaller holes in the bottom cubby hole as well. Highly highly recommended. Just watch the underside edge of some of the platforms they are very sharp if you nick it the wrong way. And the reviewer who said he got it done in 45 minutes, no way in heck unless he had help or works with the speed of the Flash! 2 hrs. min. And definitely wear gloves because your hands will get raw from all the twisting with the sisal. And it would have been really nice had they extended the sisal up to the tops of each of those little posts my cats end up scratching the carpet above the sisal and not the sisal itself. But such a minor minor thing for such a fabulous and well priced product. Well worth it!

Just got this tree today and so far it's a big hit. Assembly was pretty easy. Took about an hour to assemble and pretty sturdy. The caves are suitable for larger cats which was exactly what I was looking for. Also wanted one that would accommodate both my guys on perches and this will for sure work. Also, the 3 perches are a couple of inches larger than my current tree so more room for them to spread out. Kitties both checked it out as soon as it was done. My big boy is very cozy in it but my girl went back to the old one. Once they're used to the new tree, I'll move the old one and I'm sure they'll share it happily.

This is a high quality cat tree for a great price. The instructions are incredibly easy to follow, and the product pieces are well labeled and put together. If you have large cats this tree is ideal, because the beds are quite large and VERY plush. One of our cats is 18lbs and struggles to find hidey holes large enough to accommodate how long he is, but he fits with room to spare in the larger of the two houses! (See photo) If you have multiple cats, this tree also eliminates any scuffles or annoyances of someone being in “their” spot as there is ample room for everyone. The only negative I can find is that getting up on to it may be a bit intimidating to some cats at first, or for one that is elderly, but that is easily solved by putting something beside it to help.
