I bought these because they are an awesome way to scrub dishes and things without plastic or materials that can be harmful to the environment. When they arrived they were heavily packaged in plastic so for that I was a little disappointed. Seemed redundant.

Really pleased with the scrubbing power of this thing. The best part about it though, it’s compostable in home composts. I work for a commercial compost company in chicago and it decomposes in our vermiculture process very nicely. Really satisfied with the quality of the product, it’s minimal pckaging, and it’s compostability.

They don't hold the "sponge" water-retaining power that you would expect. Good scrubbers, just not what we want using on our dishes.

These Rubbits, combined with Barkeepers Friend, keep all of our pots and pans looking like new.

I bought these because I want to move away from the usual manufactured materials that start to smell bad and end up in the landfill. These are loofah, I will give them credit for that. But the company dyes them bright colors, and those colors run all over the counter, dishes, whatever I am trying to wash. Also, they are very stiff and the threads are so coarse food sticks to them. I will continue to search for a good loofah product. This isn't it.

I love these scrubbers. I bought my 1st one years ago at a tourist stop in New England and used it for over a year before I killed it with hard labor. By then I'd lost track of the label, so ended up trying many other sponges and scrubbers, never with the same success. Then I finally found the label and was surprised to see a 6-pack on Amazon. Now that my family has embraced being eco-friendly, these are the only scrubbers that I'll use. The only thing that beats them is steel wool, so basically they are both effective & an environmentally friendly choice...budget-savvy too since they last so long.

Really like these, they are long lasting, never get smelly (unlike sponges), and do the job. I would be just as happy if they were all natural color instead of dyed although the green one for scrubbing veggies is handy. If they ever get to the point of being too worn to use they'll go into the compost. That being said I'm still using one from a year ago!

They disintegrated- until I provided airflow and let them dry. They do mildew if you don’t and as soon as they smell I compost them. I probably use two a month. I am still on the fence as to if I will try to find another bio friendly scrubber.
