Arrived early. I was very apprehensive about this, wondering if a $4 item could really work and save me $60 on buying another CPL filter - I have a very nice B+W 55mm filter, and then I picked up a lens that takes a 52mm filter so I bought this step up ring (52mm --> 55mm). I'd read about this things binding and having crappy threads over the years and stayed away from them, this one is my first. It works very well, threads right into the lens without any binding, and my 55mm filter screwed right in with no issues. I'm happy with this purchase.

Nice little item to have in my bag. My lenses are 52mm for my Nikon D40, but got some filters from my Minolta 35mm film and they're 55mm. The ring goes on and off pretty smoothly. Been using it for a couple months now and no issues.
