Very light weight. It compresses nicely so it takes up very litle space when packing. Seems well made and fits as expected. Very happy with the performance to date.

I've had four of these jackets now. This is the newest version and has better seals on the zippers.I love these jackets because I live next to Lake Superior so are weather is sunny then windy, cold, and wet in seconds. I can store this jacket on my motorcycle, bicycle, backpack, boat or Jeep easily. I can also wear the jacket and unzip the sides to cool off if needed.I will wear this Jacket to about 0 degrees and stay reasonably warm with a good Arc-tryx vest. I still have plenty of mobility and don't have to deal with a big winter jacket. Below zero I pull out my winter gear.For rain this Jacket is not ideal. Light rain no problem. However here we get crazy cold and windy rain so I will wear this Jacket underneath a poncho or heavy duty gore-tex. It's light so I'm still mobile and super warm.Only reason I've had to buy four of them is because I lose them. Two were stolen and the other I lost probably stolen also.

An otherwise fully wonderful jacket ruined by a zipper. Caution: The pit zipper opens from the bottom up only. Imagine you're trekking up a hill in a steady rain, sweating like a dog in this marginally breathable hard shell, and you want to vent the jacket. To ventilate your pits, you need to pull the zip up from your waist opening up the entire side of the garment exposing you to wind and rain. This make no sense, all of my shells with similar zips either open from the top or have a double zipper. Pit zips need to be able to be opened incrementally from the pit downward. Opening the zip from the top in the rain allows you to ventilate with little or no water intrusion. This jacket won't let you accomplish this. A fatal flaw!

This is very light, comfortable, and fits well. It has hand pockets and pit zips. I haven't tested it in heavy rain, but it has been great in cold wind and light rain. I have a bomber rain jacket for the occasional deluge forecast, but this one travels with me in most cases because it is so light and versatile.

Cet imperméable est léger et souple. Ses ouvertures sur les côtés permettent une bonne aération lors des activités. Son capuchon ample permet le port d'une calotte. Idéal pour rester au sec lors des journées pluvieuses. J'ai commandé un point plus grand pour pouvoir mettre une doudou en dessous lors des journées plus froides.
