Ok, this is ridiculous,,,,"""5"""books and 600 pages later and this story trickles along once more,,,,,still not complete,,,oh, that costs another $10 and 2 more books !I totally love this authors wit, I have giggled til tears roll down my cheeks, and each chapter of this wonderful tale has been fun,,,, but it is sad to drag it out thru so many novellas passed along as books,,,,each leaving the reader hanging once again,,,,,,then hitting us with a much higher price for not one, but 2 books to perhaps complete this wonderful roller coaster tale. Sad marketing style Julia!!

I absolutely loved this set, and cannot wait to read more of Shannon's mishaps.....(that woman is an accident waiting for a happening ... I mean happily ever after...). Does she get it?? Declan and Shannon have some wild, steamy and sometimes crazy times. Talk about an emotioal roller coaster, have some tissues near by, not just for tears... Probably for the laughter as well. Gotta love Chuckles!!♥️ Due to sexual situations and adult language, this book is recommended for readers 18 and older!Favorite Passages~•“You no longer have permithon to even talk about my penith.”•It’s like rubbing your tummy, patting your head, and playing Farmville while singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the same time.•“We dated.”My turn to flinch.“Oh, God. I have not laughed so hard at a sexy hot book in a long time. Or at least until I read the last Julia Kent books. OMG. Shannon and Declan are amazing together. I love them. I love that Shannon has a crazy freaking family, and her mother is over the top and the secret that comes out about her past is effing fabulous. Like too much to gather. But I love it. Steve is an ass. Just like Todd. I so see how Marie went the other way with her husband and it is so sweet and caring. But these books are enough to make you pee in your pants. I have so many highlights in these books, you don't see any white in them any more. I can't wait for the next one, which I pre-ordered!!!And the sexy elf and Santa,ho ho...LMAO. And yes, I didn't miss a ho there.

Make sure you have tissues handy as you read this to wipe the tears of hilarity!!! How one person and her family create this bedlam and take it as routine is beyond me! Ms. Kent tells a sweet, complicated by many, story that runs gamut of emotions while you wait for the next shoe to drop. That next shoe is always one that provides such comic relief to serious situations while never losing the continuity of the story. If I could give this series more stars, I would. I am truly envious of the author's ability of wit, snappy comebacks, and laugh-out-loud humor as she weaves her really terrific story. And Shannon ... is my new best friend!!! 😂

This is a collection of stories about a young couple and the development of their relationship. Julia Kent writes lighthearted, fluffy, humorous stories with a lot of imagination. If you know who the Kardashians are then you will most likely get the references Julia makes. I do not watch TV or follow pop culture, so a lot of references and comparisons that Julia makes go right over my head. But it also means that these stories are timely and the references will fall flat for everyone in a few years. Julia's older and younger characters in her stories are all caricatures. Just fodder for laughs or story direction. They really aren't thought out, well rounded, consistent characters. I had fun reading the adventures, and I liked the couple well enough. It was nice to settle down with three or four chapters before going to sleep. Nothing to cause nightmares or make me wonder what would happen next. If you are looking for a little humor and a little steam, this just might fit the bill.

Shopping for a Billionaire Boxed Set is just what I needed. I find myself trapped in the dark and this set gave me a lot of laugh out loud moments. A good romance, a little angst, and a good story.Needless to say, Declan McCorrmick receives some virtual slaps a few times and his father receives a lot of virtual screams but Shannon only received one "dumb mistake" comment as I was reading.The reason I rated this as 4 stars is the box set seems to slow a little when I reached book three. That probably isn't the case if I read the books individually or take a break in between books in the box set.I do love these characters. I love the laughs. Shannon's mother is a hoot. At first I thought I might hate her character but that isn't the case. She is a loving mom who wants the best for her girls. Shannon's dad is a sweetheart described as a beta-alpha; he appears calm and a pushover until you hurt someone he loves.I want to know more about the other McCormick brothers; can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Loved Loved this collection!This is my first book by Julia Kent.Celia Kyle recommended Julia on her newsletter.When I read the description for this series, I hooked right away.Is Shannon for real?I always thought that the job of being a secret shopper was fascinating ( and you get paid to do it )Shannon is a firecracker + so hilarious.Her thoughts are just as crazy as she is. ( Toilet Girl )Declan is a total hottie, but he is also crazy like Shannon. ( Hot Guy )They are the perfect match for each other, and they agree as well.I totally recommend this collection!

Can't agree with those who rate this series five stars. However the stories are good, enjoyable but the credibility of the characters, especially James and Declan, were undermined by actions that jarred with the characteristics attributed to them earlier in the storyline. I couldn't warm to James and maybe that was the author's intention but seems odd to me given the storyline involved 2 out of 3 sons working with him. Trying to avoid spoilers so won't provide examples 're Declan. Also I had to work to make sense of some sentences (page 400) where the word "and" I suspect should have read "are". Editing errors like this remove the reader from the story. It was the first series I've read of this author so might read more. Just not as impressed as some earlier reviewers.

This has got be one of funniest series I've read, I'm still reading the follow up books. Sometimes it's hard keeping up with all the melodrama, but that's what makes all the characters so lovable. I kept laughing out loud, it's not often that happens when reading a book!! I would thoroughly recommend this series for the feel good factor, if nothing else. It has sadness, frustration, love, loyalty, laughter, everything you could possibly want in a book. Julia thank you for writing such a funny and lovable series, such a refreshing change

I loved these books. Shannon and Declan are wonderful and the supporting cast amazing. i laughed, i cried and got emotionally attached to the characters. i cannot recommend these books enough.Shannon is a secret shopper. so when Declan catches her in the mens bathroom with her had down the toilet she cannot tell him the truth or or her review will be contaminated. she takes this aspect of the job seriously and it has interesting consequences throughout the series.Read and enjoy, I did

Laugh out loud comedy. A refreshingly funny love story. Definitely worth buying the collection as opposed to the short stories which some people have been disappointed to discover when they've reached the all-too-soon ending and rated poorly because of it. The content definitely deserves five stars and I'd give more if I could. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed this set, but to be honest, I wouldn't spend a lot of money on it, and it didn't make me want to read the continuations. I had the feeling that Julia can write very well but had been told to "put more sex in it" and she tried very hard to be a bit more "50 Shades" but it didn't work - at least not for me.There were a few too many coincidences in my opinion (and that is what my review is, just my opinion), as it was clear almost from page 1 how it would end.But, it would be an enjoyable book to take on holiday.

I have to say I really enjoyed this book even though I did nearly stop reading after the psoriasis comment, I don't think skin conditions should be make fun of. that aside it turned out to be a pretty good book.I do feel though it could have done with sharper editing some parts were to drawn out and then again some parts wasn't drawn out enough.....This book has great potential to make to go from a good book to a fantastic book...... that saying it didn't stop me buying shopping for a billionaires fiancée and ill probably end up buying the rest of the series...

Absolutely loved these books from beginning to end. Love that the curvy girl gets the hot guy for a change. Shannon and Declan are great characters. Shannon's lines and antics in this book have nearly made me require a tena lady a few times reading these books. The other characters such as Shannon's mum and Agnes the elderly lady from the yoga class are equally funny. And all made these books a delight to read. Enjoyed so much I've just bought Shopping for a Billionaire's fiancee, and already know it's going to be full of the same well written wit, humour and comedy romance of the other 5 books. Well done Julia Kent..

I have NEVER laughed as much as I did while reading this book...my husband thought that I was having (several) strokes when I randomly burst into gales of laughter....I recommend reading at home (or at least having a change of underwear handy)...witty and caustically sarcastic...loved it!

Tantalizingly and deliciously witty. I thoroughly enjoyed each character's portrayal, especially Shannon's one of the main character.I imploded with laugher so hard i had tears streaming and i think i got me a washboard tum. Highly recommended.

I'll start off by saying that I enjoyed this story. Parts were properly funny and the premise was original and fun. Where I struggled was the frequent 'off topic' parts, only introduced for comic effect. It made the story too choppy. Huge use of American colloquialisms made it hard to follow too.Shannon's character was just a bit 'too ditzy' to be believable. Declan was a little too flat, as though he was a mute cardboard cutout.All said, it kept me reading to the end, and made me laugh.

Enjoyed the book and it made me laugh out loud in some places. I love the characters and how the relationship blossoms between them. Shannon’s crazy mother is something else entirely and I love her for it. Not given 5 stars due to discovering that it is a 12 part book series, with other characters getting their own book in between Shannon’s story continuing; some people love this, but I just wanted to see how Declan and Shannon ended up.

Good story. Some funny bits. Would read other books by this author. But could have done longer books, rather than splitting into 4.

Hilarious! I literally laughed out loud at this book! Some books were better than others in my opinion but overall I really enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed book one, it was hilarious, book two very funny, book three OK, but by book four it was all the same jokes, I mean how many times can the same girl fall over and rip her skirt. Book 5 was ok.

This is a fabulous collection. The series is extremely well written, full of humour and an extremely enjoyable read. I loved every word!
