This is an amazing backpack. I work as a resident physician in a hospital. Our shifts can be up to 28 hrs, and during that time we are all over the hospital, so it is nice to have a small portable bag to keep your things in.I can EASILY keep a full sized clipboard, a small reference book, and all my tools in the bag without it feeling pinched or tight... not to mention several smaller pockets for pens, odds/ends, and candy. Lots of candy. The beverage holder on the side is really nice too, because when you are going for hours and hours, it's nice to have a drink available. It holds a standard 20 oz bottle, and has a cinch if you want to hold a smaller bottle in it.Other features which I like:1) It is very sleek and low profile. Yes, it is a backpack, but it is not an obnoxiously big bag. It allows you to carry the essentials without feeling bulky.2) The quality. Overall, this is probably the best-made backpack I have had in my life. The fabric is strong and durable, yet still soft; it does not appear that it will rip or tear. The stitching is strong, and does not pull apart at the seams. The zippers are heavy-duty and the "soft" (not scratchy) zippers. The back has padding, as does the strap, for added comfort.3) The fact that you can alternate which side you are holding it with. Sometimes after a week in the ED, I notice that I will start to have some shoulder pain, just from dragging around a backpack for literally 80 hrs. It's nice to be able to alternate shoulders so you can improve posture, and reduce back/neck aches and headaches.4) The color is gorgeous. Very understated and good for work, but also trendy enough to be fun when you take it out in public. Color is true to pictures (I have the gray).Would highly recommend this. I've gotten many compliments on it, and thoroughly enjoy it. If it ever does wear out, I will be replacing it with exactly the same model. Do yourself a favor and pick this bag! :)

I was preparing for a trip overseas and needed a new bag. I checked out a number of different sling bags before settling on this one. It ended up being an excellent choicePros:1.It is well made and very roomy. It carried all my reading material, electronics, ipad2, billfold and Macbook Air 11.62.The key feature of this bag for me though was the hidden pocket in the back. When you're wearing the bag, the pocket is unnoticeable and pretty unaccessible (unless you're really not paying attention and someone is a very skilled pickpocket). The size of the pocket is great for passports, checkbooks, cash, cell phone, etc..3. I can wear the bag to the left or right by unsnapping the strap and snapping it to the other side. The pocket on the side is adjustable for water bottles of various sizes.4. It is light weight, and the black color doesn't show dirt. High quality materials with sturdy zippers.

I highly recommend this sling bag. I ordered the navy blue model but I think I will also order a black version this week. This bag is small enough to be easy to carry without too much bulk, but large enough (with so many pockets!) to carry all of your essentials without leaving anything behind. I have to say I really like the rear pocket. It is essentially hidden while wearing the bag which makes it excellent for passports, paperwork or wallets. Anything that needs to be close at hand but also securely stored away. The construction and the materials are of the highest quality. So for the price, the quality and the styling, I would say this is the best sling bag you can buy on Amazon right now.

I have used this bag every day since it arrived. As much as I like the look of a nice purse, I hate messing with it on my shoulder and being uncomfortable. And I haven't found a crossbody purse that I like. But I LOVE this crossbody sling backpack. It's small enough to not be bulky but holds what I need. Used it for two weeks in Madrid recently and used the small side/back pocket for a small wallet and iPhone. It's location on the bag (kind of hidden) made me feel more secure that my most valuable items were not in a spot easily accessible to potential pick-pocketers in crowded spaces. The water bottle pocket holds a standard 16-20 oz water bottle easily. Strap adjusts easily and the product quality overall is fantastic!

I've owned a few sling bags so far, and this is the best one yet!It's incredibly stylish in both the grey and black versions (my friend got a black one after he saw my grey one. He loves his too).Very easy to carry around, compact but has enough space to fit all your every day needs. The ability to switch which shoulder it can sling to is excellent!So useful for putting on a bag when you need to keep your cloths adjusted.Also really easy to swing the bag from the back to the front and back in one easy motion with this.Very versatile and quick and easy to use on the go!

I use it as a camera bag. I can carry a relatively large SLR-sized camera in the main pouch, for travel and hiking. I carry it on my back most of the time, yet it is easy to slide around to the front to access the camera, or for when I feel the need to protect it from pickpockets and the like. Additional pockets for batteries and small accessories, and even a few personal items (phone, reader, glasses, pens, etc), and a pocket for a small water bottle.An extra lens would make a tight fit. It feels like it will be plenty sturdy for an upcoming trip to Europe.When you simply slide it to your chest, without changing the strap to the other shoulder, there is no padding on the strap where it rests on the shoulder. When you want to carry it on your chest for a more extended period, one should move the strap to the other shoulder.
