The Family Game - Kazoku Game (Japanese Drama with English Sub) by Sakurai Sho

...but this 10-episode tv version is well done and entertaining. However, the DVD set I received appears to have been manufactured in Indonesia and, although the packaging was very nice, the picture quality was so-so and the English translation of the subtitles was pretty poor. Also, the last 30-seconds of the last episode - an epilogue of sorts - was missing. Thankfully, I was able to find it online.

This takes on the complex relationship of a family dynamics when a child is not doing well (school, hospital, and friends). The has one somn whom appears to have no pronlem and another child whose problems is ovious. The parents forget the child that shows no outside problem and provide help to the child with problem and the inividual who help the family see beyond the surface of each other facade.
