## Description

Inline Duct FanA smart inline duct fan designed to quietly ventilate hydroponic grow rooms, boost heating/cooling to rooms exhaust projects, and cool AV closets. Features an inline speed controller utilizing PWM-technology. Contains a mixed-flow design and an EC-motor for a quiet and high static-pressure performance. The motor box containing the fan’s impeller and blades can be detached from the mounted frame for easy cleaning and maintenance. Complete kit includes one duct fan unit, one corded speed controller, installation manual, necessary mounting hardware, and a corded power adapter (UK 3-pin 220-240V AC Wall Plug - Type G).Precise Speed Controller The inline speed controller enables you to set the duct fan’s speed to optimal noise and airflow levels for various environments. Unlike common AC-powered duct fans that suppresses voltage to control fan speeds, this duct fan features an EC-motor that is precisely controlled using PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). This technology enables the fan's motor to be able to run smoothly at extremely low RPM speeds without generating motor noises and heat as seen on variable voltage controllers. Eight-speed options are available with power on/off switch. Due to its backup memory capability, the fan can be triggered to run at customizable speeds when given power. This S8 model can be connected to the smart controller of the CLOUDLINE T8 to share the same programming.Quiet and Energy Efficient DesignThe inline fan features a mixed flow design using a stator blade and dual hydrodynamic wind circles. Review: Well worth it - I've owned this for 4 years now and probably only used it for 2 of those years. I bought it alongside an T8 and they both worked in tandem to extract hot air from the top and side of a grow tent that basically housed 2 crypto mining machines. These worked perfectly and would turn on or ramp up when the temperature in the tent got too high thanks to the sensor. I could also control it remotely from work in the city. They have been sitting around for a good 2 years and I was planning to sell them this summer to make some cash because it seems like they hold their value. Mine are pretty much pristine still. However, with this heat wave, I have been using this S8 to help extract the warm, humid air out the window from my workshop garage when I go in there. And tonight, as I write this review, I am using the T8 to suck in cold air from outside in to my very hot computer room on this hot summers night. I'm basically writing to say that these are currently the best fans in my household at the moment. They are both basically making the environment habitable. If I had set these up probably with the ducting tubes, I would be in paradise. Great products.

I ordered this unit to be able to recirculate the air within a room through a furnace type filter. I was positively impressed with the quality of this product. It looks nicely finished, simple and elegant. The wiring and the connections are of high quality and workmanship. It has a smooth acceleration, is vibration free, and quite. The speed controller and the temperature/humidity are nicely implemented, easily programable and very versatile. The temperature/humidity sensor is also well designed and easy attachable to any surface. The ability to add a second fan to the same controller is another nice feature. I am very satisfied with this product.
