DERMA-E Vitamin C Micellar Cleansing Water, Orange, 6 Fl Oz

i did a lot of research on micellar waters before buying any, and this is one of the few that doesnt have a bunch of chemicals and stuff you dont recognize in the ingredients list. i tried 3 different ones, and this one has been the most soothing and effective.it contains Vitamin C, which we all know boosts collagen production if it's small enough to penetrate the skin but even it is isnt, it is acidic which is a very good thing for your skin. most products are not properly pH balanced for the acidity of our skin, which can cause reactivity and irritation in the short and/or long term. in addition to the vitamin C and balanced pH, this product also contains probiotics (good bacteria), which our skin needs replenished after we wipe off whatever other bacteria we accumulated throughout the day.this does not remove all my makeup in one go on its own, so i start with a microfiber makeup removing towel and plain water - i highly recommend microfiber makeup towels because they save you so much product! no more wasteful makeup remover wipes! that takes care of all my makeup, then i do a 2nd and 3rd pass with the micellar water on a cotton pad.about my skin situation: im in my 30s with oily, acne prone skin that used to be able to handle any harsh products and exfoliation i threw at it daily. but now it is reactive and sensitized. previous methods that worked for my acne, now only make problems worse. to remedy, i first started using fewer products and cleaner ingredients - but ultimately i found that wasn't enough and i decided to STOP WASHING MY FACE ALTOGETHER (after a friend of mine told me she did). i was so skeptical and hesitant, especially because i wear foundation every day. but stopping face washing was a GAME CHANGER. i think the problem with my skin was a pH issue - your skin's pH is acidic, but most products we use are not as acidic as our skin, or worse, are alkaline. my skin is much more balanced now that i am not messing with its pH.

My face feels like it's being treated properly. It's not harsh, heavy or filmy; and it smells like a dream (le sigh). I've slowly been trying to incorporate more of their products in my daily routine. Oh, and for those days that grabbing a cotton ball and flipping open the lid of this bottle is just too much for you (ladies we've ALL had those days), I switch off to their makeup remover single sheets. Boom, clean face in half the time. I don't do to many reviews but if this review will get someone to try it (and LUV it) it was worth it. Peace. Stay safe, stay home. :)

I first sampled this product from my ipsy bag almost a year ago. I took the small sample with me on vacation -- and it was so great! I have oily skin -- and my vacation just happened to be during the summer -- and this cleansed my face feeling refreshed every time. I liked that I could just use this and nothing else if I wanted to - both day and night. I've been reordering ever since. I just recently added the face wipes this time to try. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. (my only wish now is that I didn't throw away the sample container for short trips!)

I really, really like this micellar water. I'm not sure if the vitamin c in it is stable enough to be effective but it definitely takes my heavy makeup off well and that's the main reason I purchase micellar waters.My only qualm with this product is the value. There are plenty of effective micellar waters on the market with great ingredients for a better price. The bottle is pretty tiny for what it costs. I do support Derma E as a brand; however, I won't be repurchasing this for a while and have since returned to using another brand.PS - this will burn your eyes. I learned the hard way not to use too much for removing eye makeup. Another reason I prefer my other brand. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, though, and that's a huge plus.

I’m 57 and find the DermaE products to be so nourishing for my aging skin. Because I wear full-coverage make up, I need a product that removes makeup and other impurities. This product does just what I need it to, and I haven’t had to use a toner. Love what it does for my skin.

This really cleans my skin. I usually use it in the morning, having fully cleansed and moisturized the night before, so it's used on pretty "clean" skin. And the cotton pad always comes away with grime! Not sure how I missed so much the night before! I feel clean after, not dry, not like there's any residue. I apply moisturizer etc just after. This is my second bottle - it lasts a while.

My review isn't based on the product itself but how I received it. It came in a paper package that was slightly opened and the Micellar water's seal under the cap was already coming off so half of the water had already leaked out. This is an unreturnable item so I got a bottle of Micellar that is half empty. Complete waste of money. Worked great after my oil and foam cleansers. I would purchase again but in store rather than on Amazon.

This makeup remover does the job w/the added benefits of vit c to help brighten skin. I use w/vit c serum at night and my skin has no brown spots now. Unfortunately Derma e is discontinuing this item. If u like this product, plz let them know
