Works for Vortex PST 6-24x50mm. Expensive, but cheaper than alternatives
In the world of such limited, overpriced scope throw levers, this Lone Star Throw Lever is one of the "lesser expensive" throw levers on the market (but not really by that much). In all honestly, I have no clue why these throw levers are so expensive, but I bit the barrel and purchased this one over the Vortex $60 one. Overall, I have to say that it works really well and I didn't have any problems getting it on. I currently have it installed on the scope ring of my Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50mm.The construction of the ring is sturdy. In order for me to get this over my scope ring, I initially took it apart, then had to flex it out a bit in order to wrap it over the scope ring. NOTE: wrapping painters tape over the ends of the throw lever creates less friction when installing it over the ring, as well as preventing unwanted scratches. I put a drop of oil on the connection point as per instructions and screwed it in. Took less than 5 minutes. The throw lever works really well, and gives enough clearance to zoom in and out without problems. Of course for the people who don't want to spend $40 for a small piece of aluminum, than I would suggest getting the Coaster Cat Tail Throw Levers which are only about $15-20.

Great mag adjustment lever.
The lever worked perfectly, was easy to install, and was much more reasonable in cost than the Vortex unit. It fit my Vortex HS riflescope perfectly, is very well machined and I wish that I had gotten this product long ago.

Too large for Vortex Diamondback HP 4-16x42
I like the build quality; it has a clean finish and was very light weight. Unfortunately, it was too large for my Vortex Diamondback HP 4-16x42, even though it is listed as compatible on the packaging and in the listing. The magnification ring for this scope is no greater than 43mm (1.6929"), possibly a hair smaller, and at full closure this lever still swung freely on the magnification ring.

High value throw lever
This throw lever works great, is affordable and is well made. It's easy to put on, and tightens securely to the power ring on my Viper HS-T. I'm very happy with it and I would certainly buy another one if I had a scope that they make these throw levers for.

Poor Customer Service
I really wanted to put a 1 star, but the product materials and workmanship was okay. I ordered the SV-2, the UPC code was for the SV-2, but I actually got an SV-1 (see pic I uploaded), so they made an error during packaging and labeling at Lone Star. If you go to Lone Star's website (no contact information is in the packaging), they have this song and dance about how committed they are to customer satisfaction and lifetime warranty. But there is no phone number to call on the "Contact Us" page. The e-mail link for contacting them doesn't work, but you can figure out the e-mail address if you look carefully when clicking on the radio button. I e-mailed Lone Star and it got bounced back saying the address was disabled. While the product, if correctly packaged, seemed okay, beware that the company doesn't back what it promises. How can it keep customer satisfaction promises, if it is impossible to get a hold of them???

Rust ruined it before it was received
Aside from Amazon's own delivery service sucking once again, I received the product late but this issue aside does not affect the rating the product. So today I open up the packaging and attempted to install the lever on my Vortex rifle scope. I quickly discovered that the screw would not come out using the supplied allen key. I had to use my own driver to get a bite into it and managed to get it loose and drive out. I noticed that the screw's threads were very rusted and that the screw itself is of poor quality. The head's drive hole is off centered and the drive hole itself doesn't appear to be properly made. The item consists of 3 parts, the screw, the ring, and the lever part. All three parts of full of rust. When the screw was pulled out, granules and powered rust came out. I am not happy with the QC of this product and the lack of conditioning of the metal after production to prevent this problem. If I am paying $29.99 for this, I expect this product to not arrive in its current quality and condition.

Awesome Deal!
I bought this for my Nikon M-308 scope and it works well. The throw lever is constructed very well and it is very sturdy. Adjustments are easily made tightening the hex screw with the supplied hex wrench. The one thing I like about this throw lever is that it is made of aluminium instead of plastic like other ones I have seen on the market. When attached to the scope, it protrudes just far enough so that you can manipulate it easily, but not too far where it would snag on clothing or gear. Overall, I would recommend this throw lever to anyone. For the price and quality, you cannot go wrong.

Good product
Fit, finish, and function are very good. Haven't had a chance to run it in the field or see how it stands up to me yet. That'll be happening soon though.
