[Rotating] Case for iPad Pro 12.9 inch [1st/2nd Gen 2015/2017], 360 Degree Stand [Auto Sleep/Wake] Folio Leather Smart Cover (Purple)

I have the 1st generation IPAD Pro and it is getting very tough to find a case for it. It still updates and works great so I’m not going to buy a new one. I was excited to find a cover for it and it looked good in the pictures. It does look good and almost feels like real leather, thus 3 stars. I took a star away because the hard bottom that the IPAD fits into doesn’t fit it properly so it won’t “snap” in. The pad just keeps slipping out. Very annoying! The other star I took away is because the grooves that the IPAD is suppose to rest in, in order for it to “stand up”, either in portrait or landscape are not deep enough so it is constantly falling down. So, I use it I have to hold it in place with my left hand to keep it in the hard plastic bottom and in place in the groove. I wish they hadn’t stopped making the one I used for years, but finally the hard plastic was breaking. I will keep looking. I suggest you do the same.

I love the look and feel of the case. The color is perfect!

IT IS VERY NICE

I like it and the way you can swivel it from viewing the iPad on its side or upright. The only thing is I liked the way my old cover had a side snap clamp that closed it.

It looks to be well made, sturdy, attractive, However my i-pad 2nd generation is just shy of fitting the last corner into the holder. I plan to keep it because I don't have small children that will be using it so I don't feel it will cause any problem...

The trough that holds the I-Pad upright is not deep enough causing the I-Pad to easily collapse.

I wanted a case for my husband who is a Laker fan. This case is a good match for Lakers purple, now I just need to add a yellow lakers sticker and it’s perfect. It rotates for landscape mode or portrait mode and has 3 slots for different angles when watching videos (or the lakers) hahaThere is also a strap to hold the case closed when it’s not in use so it doesn’t flip open and also for protection if dropped.I don’t know how durable it is since we have only had it a few days. We have had cases like this one and they held up decent. The foam for propping it up can wear out but that is with constant & months and months of use.

The tabs that hold the iPad in were not tight at all. The iPad just flopped out. I was disappointed with this purchase. Otherwise, nice material and design.
