These are good, solid, strong biners. Well worth the purchase.One reason I dropped a star, and it is because the hooks where the wiregates latch have a tendency to grab whatever you are looping through them. For example, when using them with any kind of strapping (backpack, hammock, etc...), the strap would get caught on the hook, and take two hands to remove the biner. I would not use these for life and death situations like climbing for that reason. Luckily, that is not why I bought them.Would have given five stars if they were easier to use one handed, but overall, they are well worth the purchase price.

I researched carabiners for an hour. Don't ask, it's just a thing I do. These were the best in this price range. It's insane how light these are. Bought a hammock and ordered these on the same day. Most hammocks come with carabiners, but they are cheaply made, heavy, and often have sharp edges: the last thing you want to stuff into a bag. These feel weightless. They also sent me 5 instead of 4. Maybe on accident? All 5 together weighed as much as ONE of the carabiners my hammock came with. Not a climber but I wanted something that I COULD climb with if I ever got into it. Won't use anything but a wire door from now on.

I didn't need climbing grade carabiners but I wanted something stronger than the cheap ones typically sold to support my kayak on the roof of my car while driving down the freeway. These were the perfect size, rated much higher than I need, and have a beautiful fit and finish to them.

They seem to be ok, haven't had the chance to use them in camp, our trip got cancelled, but that it includes a pouch, i thought it was a small fabric bag or something similar not a bubble wrap envelop, I ordered two sets both came the same way. Using one as a key chain, spring clip seems strong, will try to put to the test in the following month.

Seem to work as advertised. Although I have not really tested the load strength, my applications for them are mostly simple and low weight (setting up a drying line while camping, looped around water bottles or lanterns for hanging, etc.). All I can say is they feel sturdy and I am happy with them so far.

I use these for my hammock suspension. They're load rated close to what my amsteel suspension is, and are smaller, so helps drop weight and maintain integrity. I spent a whole week camping in a hammock with these holding me up and there was no sign of stress or even any stretching. So I'm very comfortable using these for my hammocks.
