Made from strong polystyrene, it features removable plant baskets that hold up to 3 pond plants, each with a diameter of 6" and depth of 4". Perfect for enhancing any pond or water garden, it also includes an anchor line for stability.

Missing parts
The floater and pots are fine but if you want to be able to anchor it as described, the screws and anchor were missing from the shipment. And there are illustrations about how to anchor BUT no written language explanations. So if you want to float the plants out in the middle of your pond, I hope you get all the parts. I always attach my floaters with string to the side of the pond for easy access so the missing parts did not stop me from using the floater as planned.

For pond
I bought this to plant my lillies in my pond and wanted to anchor it under water. The center brook so now I have small rocks around the edge to submerge atleast an inch or two.

Quality floating pond planter
Received many days ahead of when it was predicted to be here! Quality planter without fabric that so many other planters have that will simply fall apart over time in a wet environment. Easy to add a weight to hold in place in your pond and looks great! Kind of pricey, but well worth paying more, in my opinion.

perfect for marginal plants in pond or water garden
Nice size baskets for growing young plants into more mature aquatic plants. Floats great. I would not use the dirt medium in the pots, I used it to start but it was too heavy and made the baskets sit lower in the water than I wanted. I have marginal plants. So, I repotted usng thePondCare aquatic planting medium. It is lighter. Unless you want your plants to sit deeper in the water. With 3 baskets filled with young plants, the water level sits right at the base of the plant. I just lined the baskets with landscape fabric and then used the PondCare aquatic medium, with pea stones on top of planting medium to hold it down.. If your top layer has stones larger than pea stones, the unit will sit lower in the water and the stem/stalk will be in the water, which you may not want for marginal plants. I Purchased 1 and then ordered a second. Do not expect the baskets to hold a large mature plant. I have not tried to attach it to a weight and submerge it.

So far so good
It floats in the water but I haven’t received my plants yet to see how well it floats with plants in them that’s why I rated it a 3
