great beam angle, enclosed fixtures are no longer prohibited
UPDATE: I've now tried several other brands because I wanted something I could dim, and these are VERY MUCH better in terms of "beam angle"... which is not something most brands want to talk about. It's not really a "beam", but think about the perfect bulb which radiates light in every direction. Except a small area around the base. Now look at your LED bulb, and notice the white plastic base blocks half the light. These block only a third. Bigger beam! More of the fixture is bright inside, putting more light in the room and minimizing the dreaded bright spot in your diffuser. Buying more.Box pics from last year show a warning about enclosed fixtures. Not in 2019! They kept the limits of -20 to +45C operating temperature (-4 to 113F), so small enclosed fixtures might be a problem on hot days. I've got 3x75W equiv in an all-glass fixture designed for 3x60W incandescent, and it's barely warm to the touch on the outside after a couple hours at 75 F ambient. Other similar bulbs I tried ran much hotter. I can take these out and handle them without burning myself, even though they are hot to the touch. (Anyone who tells you LEDs don't create heat is nuts.) Happy customer.

Great Basic Energy Efficient Light Bulbs
I was looking for some what I consider basic light bulbs. Nothing fancy, but when I turn on a lamp, I hate the warm up time of some energy efficiency bulbs, and some end up with a sort of yellow light, when I want a brighter, more white light. We live in a very old home that tends to be very dark during the day, so with the shorter days, I find we need to turn the lights on earlier and leave them on longer. Therefore, I needed more bulbs that will last longer, run more efficiently and have a more natural light.I actually was going to order the Amazon basic bulbs, but for some reason you can't have them delivered here in California, there must be something in them that is hazardous, so I was very pleased when I found these. They are a nice, basic light bulb that has no warm up time, casts a lovely bright light and should last a long time and apparently, safer to use here in California. That's a win in my book!

Luxurious glow
These seem true to 3000k and light the space evenly. I installed two in the kitchen ceiling fixture to replace 75W equivalent CFLs. Unfortunately, I should have done better research before converting to LED. If I had, I wouldn't have purchased these bulbs because they are not enclosed fixture rated. This matters because although LEDs don't produce much heat, they're extremely sensitive to it, and LED bulbs that are not enclosed fixture rated, when placed in enclosed fixtures (which don't enable heat to dissipate), will likely have a shorter life than what the packaging states. Also, I realized that most of my other fixtures are dimmable and that I prefer 2700k. So, I will be giving most of these to friends (for other uses like garages and open ceiling fixtures) and putting bulbs in the kitchen fixture that are rated for enclosed fixtures. That said, I'd recommend these: They seem well made and (based on three days experience using them) I think they're a decent value and a good product.

Basic Bulbs at a Decent Price
These seem to be decent bulbs. All six of mine worked great out of the box. The build quality of the bulbs seems fine as well. I also like the 5-year warranty provided by the manufacturer. My photos show this product, and a 45W equivalent 2700K bulb. As expected, this 75W equivalent 3000K bulb is brighter and slightly whiter.I do have a couple concerns. All six of my bulbs emit an audible hum when ON. It’s not loud, but could be noticeable if sitting near the device. I would use these in basement/garage/outdoor applications where I’ll never hear it. Also, a CRI of is the minimum I would accept for LED bulbs today. You can get better quality light (CRI >90) from more expensive bulbs. Maybe only an issue indoors where higher quality light would be more noticeable.

Bulbs perform as specified
The bulbs were received and perform as described. We were searching for 3000k for the end table lamp application and these deliver. The light temperature (slightly warm yet good for reading) is exactly what we wanted and these lights provide that temperature light. The lights survived the shipping experience with no visible damage and are operating well for the short time we have been using them (2 weeks).

Great Light and NO heat produced, long life claim is genuine.
For the price, it doesn't seem you get much however, I've yet to have to replace one that has burned out and some have been in lamps, and fairly often used, for more than two years. Another great virtue is that they do not emit heat; I live in a part of the country where at times the temperature can hit the low hundreds for days on end so anything that illuminates but does not produce heat is appreciated. When the transition to this sort of bulb first started I was a cave dweller, the old way was good enough for me. Now I've moved to the ground floor and these are the way to go.

Nice and bright
They are brighter than the 60w equivalent bulbs I replaced them with. Not super noticable right off the bat, but when I did a secret side-by-side test my wife said "this one definitely looks better". If you're switching from incandescent bulbs, these will pay for themselves with lower energy cost. I have them in a pair of lamps, and they light up the room just fine. No buzzing (apparently a risk with some LEDa).

Excellent quality bulbs at a reasonable price.
These were purchased to replace other LED bulbs which were purchased several years ago. It would seem that much progress has been made in the design and manufacture of such bulbs; these new ones are lighter weight and conform to the standard shape of a light bulb of old, and so they fit into sockets and fixtures much better than the old ones.Emitted light is perfect.
