She's my favorite watercolor artists and there are a lot of extra lessons on her youtube and IG accounts.

Ohn Mar Win is a stand-out teacher and it shows in her new book "Go with the Flow Painting: Step-by-Step Techniques for Spontaneous Effects in Watercolor". She describes techniques clearly, with detailed supply lists and beautiful photographs. She offers ample practice and warm up exercises, and then covers food, animals, travel and flowers with specific projects. I particularly am interested in her use of ink line in combination with watercolor and she describes the process thoroughly. I think the book is well suited for both beginning artists as well as very experienced painters because the material is so detailed and specific. I highly recommend this book as a gift for yourself and for others on your gift list.

Very good. Teaches you a lot about watercolor

I started my watercolour painting by enrolling in her classes on Skillshare years back. This is a neat and well-planned book to help to get into painting with watercolours. The examples and explanations are clear and easy to follow. A good back to have to quickly have a look at how to use the paints and brushes.

This is a good book in that it that has directions and pictures

In this book, Ohn Mar Win does such an amazing job teaching watercolor techniques that a beginner can understand and do. One of my favorite artists that I've discovered on Instagram, Ohn Mar, has a way of encouraging loose and free painting techniques. There is a new project each chapter. It was fun to use her lessons to create note cards to send to family and friends. I recommend this book for all skill levels. If you are an artist that is wanting to express their work in a free flowing way, then check out this book.

I'll keep it for the grands to use if they want to start seriously painting. Fairly elementary.

This is a great overview of watercolor techniques by fabulous artist Ohn Mar Win. I have been following her for the last couple years and have taken several of her classes on Skillshare and elsewhere. She's a wonderful teacher and has a calm, positive style. Her paintings are beautiful and I've learned a lot from her. I highly recommend this book whether you want to paint in a loose style like she does or not.
