Project Nursery Sound Machine (Monkey)

My little boy and I love it. It looks so cute in the room, it helps him sleep and it does the job. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that it does not have a nightlight. I bought it thinking that it has both the sound and the light. I should have paid attention to the description but I just did not expect it. How unhandy it is to not have a light when you need to attend to your baby at night and need to see without turning the big lights on! We ended up buying a night light buy it would have great to have both in one machine.

I’ve had 2 prior project nursery sound machines and have been pleased with them both. This one is good, except for the white noise sound. The white noise sound almost sounds like it is inside a cup, weird and echo sounding. But it doesn’t bother us too much.

This is very cute and I think the sound quality it fine. I wish when set to the lullaby it would play all of the songs not just one over and over. Maybe I am missing something and it is supposed to do this, but ours doesn't. Also, I got a box with 3 books from Project Nursery that I did not order. Does anyone know why that would be? I can't see that I was charged for them, but I haven't totally figured that out yet.

EDIT: I bought this in January. It is October 20th right now and it is just now needing to be charged for the 1st time. I have had this on every night since August. I used it 2 times a week before August. I love how long its lasted because I lost the charger when I first got this and still cant find it.. I'm probably going to buy another and keep one as backup because it's cheap and a LIGESAVER.This monkey lasts Forever without needing a charge. I love that it comes with different sounds. It even works for me when I'm tired 👍

Our other sound machine broke and this has been the perfect replacement! I love that the monkey is small enough to fit amost anywhere in my daughters room, yet big enough to be part of the decor! The sound quality isn’t the best on the waves setting which is where we have it set since that’s what my daughter is used to hearing on her last sound machine, but it’s definitely not bothersome. I would recommend this and buy again!

I like how well it is made.. very cute and my 2 toddlers like it.. i just wish that it can play all songs not just playing one song over and over.. i like how you can adjust the volume and it can go really loud..

This has been a life saver! It does get REALLY loud, if you want it to, but the lowest setting works perfectly for my little one. Our floors are very creaky and this gives just enough to mask that sound usually. I used to have it louder to block the creaks, but started feeling like it was waking him up more than helping him sleep eventually.

It’s a cute sound machine that plays a couple different songs and a few different white noise sounds. However, the actual songs that play are very repetitive. It’s like a 15 second song that just plays the same tune over and over and over again and it becomes very annoying. This noise machine would be perfect if it had longer songs with a chain of different songs to run through.

Perfect. So many sound machines out there trying to do too many things and coming up short. This is machine has great quality sound and volume.
