This author also gives full proof techniques you can generalize to free hand drawing, such as breaking an object into shapes first or using a vanishing point. I can see that this author has written several other books so I'll be sticking with him for now. Review: Great for beginners - This is a great book for beginners, but it can get pretty challenging. I recommend You Can Draw In 30 Days by Mark Kistler before jumping into this book if you are an absolute beginner at drawing. I love Erik's drawing style and his instruction is very clear and helpful. He's a great teacher! This book definitely helps the beginner advance their skills and feel more confident about drawing. 10/10 recommend.
