25 Each 16 Gram Threaded CO2 Cartridge

What is there to say about CO2 cartridges but that they are threaded correctly, they work right, and are the right amount of CO2 to properly inflate a 23C road bike tire to any pressure you would need. You need to have a proper inflator for them; I prefer a threaded type that you can screw onto the presta valve so that you don't lose any of the gas as the cartridge discharges, and with a rotating knob that can be slowly opened to get the tire to just the firmness you like.These are shipped loose in USPS flat-rate boxes; the 25 unit quantity is the best price, probably because they will just fit into the smallest USPS box. I am on my second batch of these, offering them to my group riders who forget to bring one or whose pump fails to work (as usual), and telling them to "pay it forward" to someone else in a similar plight rather than replacing them, since they cost less than a Coke out of a vending machine at these prices. This vendor ships quickly and the post office delivers them quickly; what more could you ask for?

I wasn't too sure about how the picture makes this look off brand. Obviously the gas inside is going to be the same, but I don't want them leaking. I was pleasantly surprised and how great they worked and the cost of buying in bulk. I no longer feel like I have to save the one or two I would carry. Now if I need it I use it. If I can't find my hand pump at home I just grab one of these.

I have used these several times and found no problems. While there were a few more than I needed I split the box with a friend.The unit cost is far better and I will buy these again.

my aunt and i use these in our topeak co2 pumps, they work great. our pumps don't require the threaded type, so i cant comment on that part, but the threads look good by eye. stock up when price is good, these don't expire!

I use these for my home brew. And depending on the size of my keg and if I dont have my regular c02 tank around you can use them to force carb a keg up to 2.5 gallons. I think anything beyond that is just impractical as you'd be using more then 3 cylinders. Not really too cost efficient. But otherwise these are good quality and good grade C02 for your brew.

I went from frame pumps to CO2 inflation for my stable of bikes. One 16 gram cartridge will inflate a road tire to 110 lbs of pressure and a mountain bike tire to about 25- 30 lbs. So, one cartridge is fine for a road bike tire while you may need two to completely inflate a mountain bike tire. I wear a tiny back pack with an inflater, some spare tubes, wallet, car keys, cell phone, and 6 cartridges which should get me through a very long ride under the worst conditions. Also, it's easy to help others you encounter who may have a flat with no pump or tube to get going again.
