I had to get the 50ft one since I lived in college dorms... It works fine and it carried me past college, no sweat. Stood the test of time and survived at least 4 dormitory moves and an apartment move. I'd buy it again if I ever needed another one of these bad boys.

Installed this cable inside the walls of my house to get a hard-line connection for my entertainment center. I cut off the connectors so that I could terminate the cable to a wall plate, only to find that this is NOT a twisted-pair.Sending me a product that doesn't have the features it describes is shameful. Granted it was cheap, so I got what I paid for.

It works but has major problems with interference and therefore slow internet speeds. my internet is rated at 20gb/s and this cable gets speeds of 900-1200kb/s which is kind of awful. I have ordered for a new different cable with better specs, I wouldn't suggest this cable to anyone with high internet speeds or with many electronics in a small area.

Spend a little more and get a better quality plastic. Yes, it works. No, it didn't last very long. I have Ethernet cables from years ago that are still in better condition than this one was after a few weeks of use. The housing split and cracked and I ended up throwing this away.

I got exactly what I paid for with these. They are perfect for if you need to hook up a desktop or a gaming console to the ethernet since you won't be moving them around, but the ones I use for hooking up the laptops in the house have unraveled a bit. However, I'm not bothered by that because at this price, if it breaks, I'm more than willing to just buy another.

50 feet is such a versatile length for any cable. I ran this cable from my router on the second floor out the window, around the house, and in the living room window on the first floor to my HTPC, when wireless was going in and out. This cable has stood up to rain, heat, cold, snow, wind, and probably several birds and hasn't shorted or diminished in performance. Not to mention it handles gigabit speeds swimmingly. Can't recommend it enough.

Yes, this is a 50 foot Ethernet cable, and it does work.. And for 5 bucks, it's worth every penny. But it is extremely cheaply made. The cable is extremely flimsy and you should be really careful about kinking it, because there's basically no protection on it.. That being said, if all you're doing is running a cable through a wall or something where it is not at risk of being damaged, it should be fine.

Received this item and was initially impressed with packaging and build quality. Unraveled the coil of cord, plugged it in, and ran a quick internet speed test. This cable lived up to all my expectations: looks great, feels very high-quality, snaps into all Ethernet ports securely, and transmits data exceptionally fast.Would recommend! Look no further if you want a quality Ethernet cable.

feels and looks like a decent quality cable at a good price. Would buy again.Update: July 28 2017 - cable failed after 2 years. The jacket is very flexible but the wiring itself doesn't appear to be made durably since it's failed. Never had cable fail.
