TotMart Infant Bath Sponge, Newborn Essential, Yellow

Makes bath time SOOOOO much easier!! We have the 4moms baby bath tub (which is also amazing and has a sensor to tell you the temperature of the water along with plugs to siphon dirty water out and fresh water in) but with our newborn it was very slippery for her. We put this in the tub and she was so much more comfortable. (ONLY NEGATIVE) when I opened the package there was a VERY strong chemical odor.. I washed it in the washing machine (rinsed twice) with Honest detergent, let it air dry and the smell is now gone. Finally the little sponge animals are so cute!Highly recommend.

I used this product to sponge bath my newborn, I placed a larger towel beneath the sponge and proceeded to sponge bath her on this sponge. It worked great and is was very absorbent. I don't think it will last very long, but so we are past the first month and everything is still well intact. I will warn anyone ordering this that it came in tight packaging and so when it was originally opened it appeared as if the sponge was damaged or malformed but after a few days outside of the originally packaging it went right back into original shape and worked like a charm. Babies larger than a month or longer than (estimated) 21" or so will probably overhang the sponge slightly at their feet.

8 months in and the sponge is still going strong! Everyone kept saying we needed a baby bathtub but those were just too bulky and an annoyance. We opted for a small sponge and I’m happy we did! The baby can sit on it or lay on it when in the tub or shower. He loves the little sponges that came with it as well. The material it is made out of is soft and thick for a nice cushion. It also has a hanging string so it can dry and be tucked away with little issue!

This was too thick for my infant tub so he wasn't getting the hot water on his skin which made bathing miserable. I did however find a great use for it which is as a cushion on the ground next to me with his hooded towel where I place him immediately after I take him out of the water. I use the sponge to bathe him too. I'm sure I might change the use of it as he gets bigger too.

This is one of those products that you don't need for very long but, when you do need it--for bathing slippery newborns-- it's absolutely essential. This one is cute, well-built, and fits the tub sling and the baby just fine.You have to be sure to air dry it thoroughly between uses to avoid having mold grow on the wet sponge.

This was a great help with a slippery baby, especially when I have a 6yr old and a 3 yr old helpers. This allows me to be more comfortable to allow them to assist a little. I did use it in my sink for cushion, but it was a bit squishy, but works great in the tub.

Every new parent should have one of these. Throw away the bulky tubs and bathe your baby in the big tub with this awesome sponge!

Love this to help prop up my newborn in the sink and not worry she will slip out of my hands and get hurt. Had a similar blue one for my son which lasted long enough before discoloring on the edges and pitching it. Unwrapped from packaging quickly, didn't have an odor as I saw noted in other reviews.
