Disappointment with a good idea
I wanted to love the two locks that I ordered, and indeed I like the long cable on each. I am able to use one lock on two or three zippers this way. But I have found that the tip of the cable is too big to fit through the part of an eBags zipper pull that locks it to the adjacent zipper pull. As I look closely at the detail photos in the listing I do see that the cable has been run through the larger hole in the pull, rather than the one that closes the two zippers up tight. Two more quibbles are that, while sturdy, the locks are pretty heavy. I wanted them to be lightweight. After all, it isn't the weight of the lock that keeps out the thieves. It's probably the strength of the cable. I weigh everything that I put into my suitcase, so it will be as light as possible for one-carry-on-bag travel. Also, as with any combination lock where the numbers are stacked one on top of the other, I always have to use white paint to remind me which of the numbers (exposed to three sides of the lock) is the one with the combination of numbers that I have memorized. Yes, there is a bump on the lock itself showing which stack of numbers to use, but it is invisible and painted black. I have also marked: "front," and "back" to help me find the right combination of numbers.I have sent an email to the seller, but have not received a reply.

Very Nice Product; Easy To set. Travel will tell The Full Story!
We have not used this for travel yet...shortly....so this review is really based on the initial impressions. The cable fits through all the luggage pull-tab holes easily, so no issues there. Setting the combination was a breeze, and I do like having the extra button on the side to actually release the cable. The cable holes are tight and leave no room for anyone to peek in and "figure" out the combination as they turn the wheels, as I saw for another brand. I ordered only one as I wanted to review the quality etc, but I will be ordering more for the various luggage we intend to take. I know this will not stop anyone who really wants to destroy our luggage to see if there is anything valuable, it really is more a peace-of-mind investment knowing that no-one (I hope) can casually rummage through our stuff in the airport or hotels. I will update once we have completed our travels.

Its worth the extra money
This lock is better made than your typical TSA luggage locks, which often seem to be little more than junk. I bought it in the hopes that the cable loop is longer than your typical cabled luggage lock and I wasn't disappointed. I have the Master luggage/TSA lock and its not long enough to do the job I want... but this one has enough cable and more. Many cable style locks have a simple unlocking mechanism - dial the combo and press inwards on the cable at its base. Cable slips free from latching to the outer edge of the lock housing. Simple -- and cheap to manufacture. Except its easy to operate holding it in your hand... but wrapped tightly and upside down on your luggage? Not so much. This lock has a push button to release the cable. To me that one feature is worth the higher price of this lock. The added cable length is a bonus.

1st Defective, 2nd Defective, not trying a 3rd...
UPDATE: Sadly, I received the replacement unit after the first one was defective. I reset the unit as instructed, and now it won't open. I was VERY careful to ensure the correct numbers were lined up. So, now my original/default 000 code won't work, nor will my reset code.Good idea, but something's up with it. I'm not willing to give it a third chance...My initial experience with this lock wasn't the best; however, that's not the lock or the manufacturer's fault. I received one that was returned/used - how do I know this? Well, it was upside down in the box, had dirty tape wrapped around the loop, and the default code 0-0-0 did not work. So, it wouldn't open. However, I contacted amazon and marked it defective - sent it back with a prepaid shipping label and they sent me a new one.I travel a good bit, and have many little "TSA approved locks." So when I had the opportunity to sample this one, I thought... "Nah... no thanks." But then I realized it's not like other locks. Usually they have short, hard and squatty little loops/arms (not sure what to call them). However, this one has a metal "rope" that is both longer and mallable (easier to use). This is great; much easier to use. It also extends to applications beyond luggage zippers because of the length.

I like it so far.
Just got this a few days ago. Setting the combination was super easy; the directions that came with it were very straightforward. The only issue (if you can call it that) was trying to loop the cable around the handle of my suitcase after just putting on lotion. There appears to be a layer of thick plastic over the cable, making it pretty tough. It won't stop somebody bent on getting into your luggage of course, but will serve its purpose of keeping the average person out. I only give it four stars because I just got it so have not seen how it holds up against rough baggage handlers..update should come in a few weeks.

Really meets my expectations
This lock does not feel flimsy at all and is easy to attach to the luggage handle and to secure the zipper at the same time. It definitely makes it harder for someone to sneak into your belongings without being noticed in public areas, unless they are operating in private/enclosed areas and have appropriate tools to brake the lock itself or cut the security cable. Naturally, these devices are not meant to be 100% efficient against determined individuals who want to steal your stuff, but it will definitely make it more difficult for them to achieve this. For sure, it will keep away those who might be tempted to acquire your valuables simply because they have not been secured properly. I am very sarisfied with my purchase.

Quality seems good and perfect if you need to lock 3 or ...
Had some difficulty setting the combination. It had set a different middle number than I entered which I eventually discovered after some tinkering. Quality seems good and perfect if you need to lock 3 or more zippers and (hopefully) lock the back to a pole or similar (might be a bit tight).
