STUNNING PICTURE QUALITY
I purchased a $1000 Samsung LED 4K in December 2015 at a big box store after much online research and footwork at various stores. I was very happy with it until backlight bleed appeared along the edges within a few weeks. The bleed was too distracting during dark scenes and I thought it would only get worse, so I returned it for refund. So, back to the search. I did not want to spend more than $1000 but after reading the consensus that HDR is the future and OLED has the best picture quality, I started looking at these. The prices on these have dropped considerably (about $1000) in the past year. So, after finding this on Amazon for $1630 (Best Buy was $1800) I decided to raise my budget threshold by rationalizing that I will never need more than this level of quality in home viewing, no matter what the next wave of technology brings...if it really looks as good as the reviews tout when I watch it at home. (It was not possible to determine the actual quality in the stores because of the bright lights and that the picture source was promotional content.) The TV was delivered 3 days sooner than the online estimate. The set-up was easy and the picture quality is amazing, even without a 4K and HDR source. I had a party and put James Bond Spectre in the Blu-Ray player without telling anyone about the TV. (The viewers have 1080 sets and Blu-Ray players at their home.) Within a minute the questions starting coming because they saw the huge difference and this was not even a 4K/HDR source. The picture is essentially cinema-quality with 4K/HDR source. The mouse-like remote is great (I have not set up the voice activation yet). The internal speakers are good but I added a Sonos surround system so the internal speaker sound is a moot point. I have only the highest praise and recommendation for this TV. The only down side is that the 4K and HDR availability is still quite limited, but I am hopeful that the pundits are correct and this will improve in the near future. -MAK, 12/18/16

Exciting with little smoke but a learning curve
I received this as a gift. It was the best of those I had chosen to eventually purchase for myself and when my list was discovered, it immediately became a "great gift idea".Prior to roasting my first 4 scoops of beans (the recommended maximum) I went online to view several YouTube videos on how to ensure the optimal roast. Each video added something a little different, leading to the conclusion that the optimal roast requires technique. That was good to know because it means that roasting coffee is not an automated process but an interactive process; one cannot simply add beans, set the timer, and hit 'play'.I made excellent coffee with my first roasting. It is not difficult once the terms 'first crack' and 'second crack' are understood. From the YouTube videos I learned a key lesson that I applied my first time, disregarded in a experimental 2nd time, and now know to use every time: start to process with the fan on HIGH and temperature on LOW for the first 2 minutes. Wait for the beans to begin agitating and the color to darken slightly before implementing the high temperature roasting. This significantly improves the uniformity of the eventual roast. Once the beans are swirling in the chamber, lower the fan speed (to 75%) and turn the temperature to HIGH. Since I like a darker roast I then go through first and fully past second crack before going to cool cycle - fan HIGH and temperature COOL.NOTE: the process of roasting creates some smoke and I found that an outside venting fan (or a couple of open windows) on low was required to not activate the smoke alarm. The non-offensive smell of roasted coffee will linger for a couple of hours, but a quick spray of room freshener quickly dispels the slightly burnt wood smell. The final result: a bit lighter than Starbucks Christmas blend but with a crisper and better developed flavor.

Amazing Addition to Smart Home
This little light is a really awesome addition to my smart home. The app allows you to do a ton of things with it, and there are a lot of colors that you can use with it. It’s also nice that you can fine tune your look with presets, saturation, and brightness adjustments. Finally, the integrated smart assistant compatibility is nice for controlling it without a phone.

Extremely useful for a variety of things
Extremely useful for a variety of things. Does not smell harsh like bleach does. I put it into the 1000 gallon therapy, Cedar wood pool and it keeps the water cleaner than bleach or bromide. Mix some for mouthwash, 3%-4%. Mix some at 17% for cleaning toilet or tile areas. Use a diluted ratio to soak tooth brushes and flossers. Mixed to different ratios it can go a long way and do a variety of jobs for us. That saves a lot of money on other cleaners that are not as effective.

Buy it!
I was leery of buying this on-line but it was over $500 cheaper than best buy...I'll buy from this vendor again. The TV? best blacks I've ever seen, the HDR images have such good depth it's 3D like. The upscaling makes 1080P look even better.

Good stuff.
Use it in my hot tub instead of bromine. Works great. Pour a little in one time / week. Have not used bromine in years.
