In the Breeze Teal Holographic Mylar Windsock Hanging Decoration - Decorative and Humane Bird and Pest Deterrent

Bought these to hang on boat antennae to help keep the birds away when we aren't around. Works pretty well for that but during the summer while we had some pretty warm weather the Mylar got on the eisenglass and melted there. Took a little work to clean it off of the glass but eventually got it. Solution, cut it a bit shorter so it doesn't hot the eisenglass. Bonus, they're pretty and sparkly in the sun!

I bought this windsock in hopes of keeping rogue birds from pooping on my covered front porch. My complaint about this item is that anytime the slightest breeze blows, I find it blown up and into my gutter. I've tied washers to the end of a few of the strands in hopes of adding just enough weight to prevent that annoying ritual.

I won't lie we were having trouble with sparrows in our clay roof. I would have tried anything. I attached this to an old fishing pole in the front yard and it blows in the wind. The snap, crackly noise it makes when the wind blows has scared those pests away. It actually did a better job then the cat we rescued.

I put this on my dock for decoration and to keep the birds from perching there. It is so pretty, although, apparently the birds don't think so. And, because it is so light, it doesn't tangle and get stuck. If it does tangle slightly, it quickly undoes itself. I mention this because when I got it and saw how light it was, I was concerned the wind would destroy it.

Really pretty! Sparkles in the sunlight! Unfortunately, the bird that is currently driving me nuts by pooping on my porch railing seems to be immune to it. :-/

This wind sock keeps works great for keeping the birds from sitting on my pontoon boat at the lake. I have a covered area for the pontoon boat and it hangs down just above the top of the pontoon Bimini cover and supports on the pontoon boat. Very few bird droppings since we started using them.

We've had several pairs flying from antennas of our boat over the past many years. They look great and stand up pretty well if you take them down during high winds. We usually get 2-3 years use.

We had been searching for the Mylar holographic streamers for over the last couple of years. I used to be able to buy them a local store in Nelson B.C. but they no longer carried it. We have had a wood pecker destroying our siding, and they scare easily with bright moving objects. This rainbow teal wind streamer did the trick. It serves dual purposes, not only does it scare away the wood pecker but it is beautiful in how it sways and weaves with the wind. Now that we have another source to purchase from Amazon, we will be purchasing more in the future.
