Kindling Flames: Blazing Moon (The Ancient Fire Series Book 6)

I am enjoying this series. The series if about magical characters: vampires, werewolves, fey, leprechauns, and more. The author does a good job of developing the characters. You know that some have done some things they regret, but most of the main characters are generally good people who help others, etc. I do not recall any curse words or racial slurs. I do not believe there is anything racist or really even negative about this book other than the fact that you know sex occurs between unmarried individuals.Regarding sex: sex is something you know happens- is mentioned, but there are no sex scenes. There is mention of sex out of wedlock and sex occurring between one particular woman and two men (not the main characters) in the series, but there are no scenes that would stimulate ones hormones while reading. Use caution if sharing this with a young teen (I would not suggest sharing with preteen or child). I have had discussions with my 15-year-old daughter her whole life based on her developmental level and would not mind her reading this series, but would of course remind her of my values and those I expect from her.

This is probably one of Julie Wetzel's best in the series. The story focuses mostly on Phelan in the Brenton wolfpack and his unexpected human mate, Krissy, an empath who accidentally comes to the rescue when the wolves start having unexpected rages. Vampire, Elliot, who I have a crush on, plays a more pivotal role, filling the shoes of Darien while Darien is on his honeymoon with Victoria. I would have liked to learn more about the wolf pack and Rupert, who makes an appearance, but is not the main character; otherwise I enjoyed the story. I do wonder if Ms. Wetzel would add a "who's who" in her crazy vampire, werewolf, fae world and how they are all connected and in which book they appear, heroes and villains alike. Note: This book should be read in order. Readers will need the first set of books to understand the key players and setting Ms. Wetzel has created for her series.

This series is worth the time it takes to read it and more... I read all the books through without stopping. It's a good thing I'm on my own and don't have many responsibility's because I really couldn't stop. It was that good of a story. This is the last book in this series I could find but I hope Julie will fund it in her heart to write another one. There's so much more that I want to know. PLEASE!!!!!

Things move fast and furious this book. This is the first book in the series for me. Definitely going to read the rest in order. I took off a star because the female character is not very well developed.

I enjoyed this book and the entire "Kindling Flames" series. Romance vampires, werewolves! Not for kids, there are some sex scenes, but the stories are not centered on sex. I like the stories enough to have started re-reading them.

Love the series. Can't wait for next one that ties up and finishes the tale. You should read this series.

I have read and re-read the 6 books many times and I am never bored of the storyline. The descriptions of the characters brings them fully to life and provides some chuckles along the way. Please Julie can you add some more books to the series?

Very enjoyable book to the series. Just love how the characters evolve and interact. Do love Julie Wetzel as an author and have both her Ancient Fire Series and the Dragons of Eternity series.

Just as good as the others. There are so many great characters in these books. I rarely pay for books so they must be good for me to part with £4+ for each of them! So sad I've finished the last available book. More please.
