A very sturdy mount, highly recommend for bikers: 4.5/5
As someone who does a lot of biking, I began getting sick of keeping my phone in my pocket since it would come out drenched in sweat from my leg, and was a hassle to keep taking it out when I needed to check something on it. With this mount, I am now able secured to my handlebars instead, which also makes navigation much easier.Pros:- Can handle very big phones (for reference, both a Note 5 and Note 9 with Otterbox cases are able to fit, but the grip is a little tight).- Can be mounted on a wide range of handlebars.- Very sturdy. The mount itself barely moves even on the bumpiest of roads, and using the rubber net my phone stays nicely locked in place. However, sometimes bumps cause the phone to tilt a bit simply because of the way ball-and-socket joints works.- Full 360 degree rotational ball-and-socket arm with a generous range of tilt; with the way I have it mounted I can tilt my phone completely downwards to use it as a makeshift headlight during night-time rides, while tilting it back upwards to use it normally.- Raises the phone off the handlebar, meaning you can grip the phone for extra stability when using it.Cons:- A bit difficult to install because of the two-piece design, the trade-off being that said design allows for a fit on a wide range of handlebar sizes.- Two-arm spring grip is tight, maybe a little TOO tight. Without the net, the grip actually squeezed my phone so hard it popped out. I had to put a little slab of plastic between the arms right above the springs to keep it a bit more loose.- The key screw that's used to tighten the mount is maybe a little too long, and has a ridiculously high thread pitch for its purpose. I won't get into the physics too much, but basically this means that you have to turn the key quite a bit to tighten the mount and can very easily over-tighten. I actually broke the bottom piece off pretty easily because I couldn't tell when the screw was secure enough.

I Personally Like the Product
I purchased this mount for my family use and at first was a little bit skeptical about the quality and functionality based on my previous experience with such holders. When I've received the item, I can say I was really surprised of the quality and how functional and sturdy it is. It turned out to be very well designed, pretty solid and fully adjustable. The most IMPORTANT about the item is that my cellphone sits there extremely well and tight which is the crucial about such product!!!I really like the way the product is built-in, i mean its great constructed and very easy to install. The seller also sent extra rubber bands for different size of bikes or scooters, it helps a lot to hold your devise fail-safe all the way you drive regardless of how shaky the road is. Overall, I can say this is great product if you need your gadget next to your yeas while ride a bike. I am sure it would work awesome for a scooter as well and you are not gonna be disappointed with this product.

Good with an issue
This is a well-made phone mount but it has issues that may or may not bother you. First, the phone is rotated by force to change its orientation from portrait to landscape and each position “clicks” in place. The whole thing is intended to be one permanent assembly. The picture where the top and bottom part of the mount are disassembled is for illustration only. The problem is there is slop at each click position that allows the phone to “wiggle” in the plane of rotation.Second, the pivot bolt is too long and protrudes into the diameter where the part you’re clamping to is. Since there are rubber fillers for small diameter handlebars this probably won’t matter but if you’re clamping to the larger diameter handlebar stem without the rubber fillers that’s a problem.I fixed both problems by rigidly mounting the top and bottom parts of the mount in one permanent landscape position since I will always use this mount on the handlebar stem in that orientation. I did that by peeling off the rubber pad on the top and removing the 4 screws. The top phone clamp assembly then pries apart allowing access to the pivot bolt. After removing the pivot bolt I ground it shorter, discarded the spring and moved the washer from in-between the two rotating assemblies to under the bolt head. Then I put it back together with the pivot bolt screwed down tight with thread lock sealant on the nut since the self-locking nut no longer self-locks with the shorter bolt. Note: Don’t grind the bolt while it is still installed; it will get hot and melt the plastic. Ask me how I know that. (fixed it with a heat gun)I have a six inch (diagonal) display phone and the extra-large silicone band is just the right size. In fact; my phone is the Moto Z Play with the external battery mod so it’s thick and heavy. It still works fine. After the modification this mount works well for me. It’s strong, easy to use and it looks nice. It defies logic why the manufacturer put so much effort into the design, fit and finish and then messed up the rotation adjustment. The best feature of this mount is it doesn’t have a swivel ball mount allowing a very low profile. It’s worth the effort of modification if you’re handy with tools (and don’t melt the plastic).

Finally a good phone holder
YES! Finally a very well designed and made phone holder. This is the ONLY one I have found that will withstand mountain biking (MTB). I have tried a few and I'm telling you, don't even bother with the others! So happy. Quality product and well made! Road bike, mountain bike, moto! Great product! Also love you can position it to go on bars or stem (if your stem is long enough...some of mine aren't...no biggie though.) Note: as others have said one small thing to watch is that the screw on the inside doesn’t protrude and scratch your bars. I trimmed mine. Maybe something they can fix in future versions. UPDATE: I also recently took one of these and modified it. I'm no longer using the handlebar mount. I took it apart and drilled a hole in the middle so I can mount it to my threadless headset star nut. I love it and it sits lower and more secure! Works perfect!

Love it - my riding partner is jealous
Love this thing!I am terrible with navigation and got sick of having to stop every couple of blocks to pull out my phone to check Google maps. Saw a few other options but they either didn't fit my phone, had bad reviews about being cheaply made or weren't able to change between vertical or horizontal. I prefer horiz for maps and this one literally can change on the fly.Holds my Samsung galaxy s7 nicely - I was a little worried about road bumps shaking it loose but after the first use I realized that won't happen, the mount holds it tight and the elastic band is really just a backup plan. Was a little finicky to attach to my handlebars but once I realized the tube was thicker in that spot, it was alot easier. It's quick to remove phone (and put it back in) so I usually leave mount attached and just pull the phone when stopping somewhere. My riding partner is now jealous and planning on getting one for herself.
