Review: Truly useless - The cartoons and symbols used are reproduced so small that they are of no use whatsoever. The tables are equally useless and the starting point at which we start to learn is ridiculous. I don't recall exactly when I first used that word but it certainly wasn't at nursery school! Ridiculous methodology, poor presentation and generally a waste of space. I assume the good ratings were family and friends!

The cartoons and symbols used are reproduced so small that they are of no use whatsoever. The tables are equally useless and the starting point at which we start to learn is ridiculous. One of the earliest lessons is about which syllable to stress in multi- syllable words, so one of the first words a student is expected to learn is "multi-syllable"! I don't recall exactly when I first used that word but it certainly wasn't at nursery school! Ridiculous methodology, poor presentation and generally a waste of space. I assume the good ratings were family and friends!

TRYING to teach English to a friend, I bought this book, only to discover that the whole thing is based on an accompanying recording...WHERE IS THAT RECORDING?....there is no obvious indication or advice.
