Olympic Pool Paint Viking Blue
I recently used Olympic Pool Paint Epoxy Pool Paint in the Viking Blue color, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. In my opinion, Viking Blue is one of the best pool colors available—it gives the water a beautiful, rich blue appearance that really stands out. The paint went on smoothly and provided excellent coverage. That said, I highly recommend applying two coats of epoxy primer followed by two coats of epoxy paint. Taking the extra time to do the full system is well worth it for the best finish and durability. So far, the results look amazing, and the finish is smooth, vibrant, and professional-looking. Time will tell how well it holds up over the years, but based on my experience so far, I have high hopes for its long-term performance. If you're considering an epoxy pool paint, I would definitely recommend giving Olympic Pool Paint in Viking Blue a look.

A year in - so far so good.
We painted our gunite pool a year ago with this paint. So far, it's been perfect. Using this stuff is a bugger. Prep work needs to be done by the book. Follow the directions carefully. When you're ready to paint, pay attention to the temperature and how long you have to apply it. Keep track of mix time for each gallon and mix up one gallon at a time as you go. (our pool required 6 gallons) Do NOT try to do this by yourself. One person needs to paint while the other mixes and keeps track of the time. When done right, the pool is absolutely gorgeous and will stay that way for years. It looks like a shiny candy coating. This is the second time I've used epoxy for my pool. The first time it lasted about 7 years before needing to be done again. It's expensive, but you get what you pay for. Pro tip: When you're all finished and ready for clean up, take your ear pods out BEFORE removing your mask so that your ear pod doesn't pop out of your ear and bounce down into the middle of your freshly painted pool! Don't ask me how I know!

Good
So far this does do what it says it does. We’ve only had it on our fountain for a couple weeks, so don’t know how it will last, but hoping for a good result.

Fantastic paint with prep, timing, situational awareness
I am a Contractor with a 70,000 gallon pool. Ventilation is imperative for epoxy. NIce smelling water paint is garbage that won't stick.Try the latex if you can't intelligently protect yourself with active measures. Preparation is everything. Power mixing for time specified means power mixed for time specified.. No more that 48 hrs. between coats otherwise sand whole thing. Induction time is imperative. 30 minutes if in doubt of temperature of paint . Take pic of instructions on can and zoom up. Read and reread. I use a non contact thermometer for situational awareness for application, mindful of avoiding the sun until their superb black epoxy dura seal or other epoxy paint sets overnight and turns into a tile glaze like finish. Be sure to cast sand on walking surfaces ( it will pop off leaving behind a fossilized good traction surface) or you will be sorry. Their Epoxy paint is no question the best on the market and most economical in the long run. Update one year later: No peeling whatsoever, fantastic bond! I don’t know who the clown was that installed the reflecting pool in Washington, but they didn’t know a damn thing and for sure they didn’t do their due diligence! .

The paint turned my family into the Smurfs
DO NOT BUY. After painting, it looked amazing. We were very impressed, and it looked beautiful. Fast forward not even 2 months later, and every time we come out of the pool we all look like smurfs. I can only imagine how toxic this must be. The paint is totally peeling off, chipping, and bleeding all over our skin and in the water. We reached out to the business and heard nothing back. We followed all instructions to a T. Sadly, we are out tons of money, and can’t use our pool as the paint keeps penetrating our skin. Extremely disappointed in the lack of response from the business who sold this paint.

Great Product: Also needs to be sold in 1/2 gallon and quart size
Olympic Zeron pool paint is a great product. It is not the easiest to apply or work with. However, follow the instructions and have all the required tools ready to go and it's a Medium DIY project. I wish they would sell the product in 1/2 gallon and quart size. As is, you must mix an entire gallon. Or spend time measuring out the product and hardener.
